Was Shiorin always into yaoi or was it some recent development?
Also for once I wish I could be outraged at anything like some people because then I'd at least get some emotion out of this (14) chapter. Since it was pretty meh when compared to the previous ones.

I expected a lot but not a cup noodle chapter.
I enjoyed this series, it was short (both chapter and overall length) but for what it was, I think it wasn't a bad thing to be short and sweet. Would definitely read more if the author decides to do a second volume.

Eh, I and my friends had more fun pointing out all the various fetishes the author inserted into his work than the actual plot and stuff.

This was an amazing chapter.

So now we get a disaster chapter where she pretends to know how to cook? With a bonus content of our maid being a natural at it and picking things up in an instant.

Having finally watched the show I can enjoy all the great fan stuff.

After the first chapter, I expected each one to be a bit longer, but I won't complain. It works, considering each chapter is just a single situation.

It's such an odd feeling to read this knowing it won't have a happy end. If the first page of this whole thing really is part of the end game for this story, then at best we can expect a bittersweet thing.

Also we kind of but not really but sort of got a title drop in this (3rd) chapter. With the garden stuff.

Forced servitude? I thought the main girl here just moved out to live on her own, and then suddenly the daughter of her previous caretaker just asks her to be her maid.

This was a really sweet chapter. I accepted it would end up on a bit of a sad note, but I was pleasantly surprised it didn't.

I dig this more than most "fall in love with the villainess" love plots. Mostly because there's some danger involved and the evil forces are actually evil. At least to some degree. I thought this would end up being just a comedy slapstick with some incompetent demons and their goofy shenanigans but so far in 4(+1) chapters we had two attempts to kill or at least harm the princess.

I guess it's a bit too early to say anything else. The princess seems like the caged bird type who wants to be set free and not much was said about the demon lord herself. But I do like it so far, so I can't wait for more.

I live for this kind of story. I especially liked the ending. It basically managed to not break the pacing of a oneshot while still having them in some way confess to each other and not be an open ended thing.

It's always a treat when those kinds of discussions are born, especially if it was provoked by something absurd. Look at that noncon hairball action. And throwing that R word around is even better. Let's water it down some more and pretend we care.

Regardless, I'm curious about "the turning back into a human". Usually, HumanxVampire plots go the other way around, with the hooman wanting to be a vampire or something. Then again, I'm not much into vampire stuff, so maybe this is a common trope.

The two main leads don't seem to be anything special, but at the same time, they're fun and seem to have a neat dynamic. I especially like Evri, which poor position in the family was due to her dark magic, so she was shafted from the get-go which forced her to put up a cynical front most if not all of her life. I just hope we won't get too many "subtle metaphors"... I rolled my eyes at that "magic and sex prejudice" thing.

And after some consideration, I'll gladly welcome a series that's just a fantasy and not an isekai.

I saw other people mention that this was heading towards its finish line and I'm glad. Because lately, it felt like this manga was deep diving into some meta stuff and trying to explain and address things. And if you want to make a silly manga about a lazy girl and a proactive girl just go for it, but the more you try to explain things or try to fit them in, the more it'll fall apart.

And I'm not saying this out of spite, I just rather see it end on a good note than go on and become bad.

People complain that in "Anemone is in heat" the Riri/Uda/Pres thing is stretching, but at least there it's just the author trying to show different perspectives.
This is just "Oh no we're getting too close to the conclusion quick make them slap each other!" I'm game for a slowburn, even one that uses black hole density to prolong things. But this is just pointless. And I'm sure we'll have some kind of prolonged boring explanation from Ruriko and it'll all end well thanks to the power of the postcard she bought her. But really fuck off with this kind of bullshit
UNLESS! Unless Kurumi goes back there, slaps Ruriko back and they have the most aggressive, passionate, and sleazy sex imaginable. If that's the goal then it's fine.

This manga finds odd ways to gross me out. Like with the ants being all over the cookies she ate in earlier chapters. Now "kissing" after the other girl vomited. Not that I'm complaining, it's just something that doesn't happen too often in the stuff I watch or read.

Each quality pic or doujin like this makes me tremble in anxiety and anticipation for them to not mess up the second season of the anime. I got so disappointed lately with so many "second seasons" of anime that I just want them to do a good job. Even yuriness aside.

That was a nice (additional) wrap on the whole thing. I wish we'd get another one with them somewhere in the future maybe, just to give us a little idea of how things went for them. Especially for Hino. She uh... Had a bit of a bundle there we didn't really do much with.

I love the fact that this was basically an almost 50 chapter reversal story
