It is not my first time reading this. I still do not understand what the heck is this. It feels more like a shounen manga for early teens. I still do not know what to make of it....would someone tell me what is the purpose and attraction this manga has? I am not going to read this a third time until someone told me it is worth my time and energy to read it.

What you need to do instead of criticizing scenario which is outside of the text and created a future from your reading, is called fan fiction. Feel free to write it out and post it somewhere in a fan fic website.
I understand people are seriously offended by pedophilic works, but you do not have to read it. Besides, this is not pedophilic by definition. Japan has a very low age of consent, plus intentional loopholes that allow adults to have sex with under agers. Parental consent is one of them. Consential love between the two persons is another. That is why in Citrus. which apparently you have read, Amamiya committed NO crime against Mei.

With Aya, she was controlling her own narrative. She was the one who was trying to instill boundaries. Of course she broke her own rules. But that was by her own hand.

I cannot wait to read that epilogue. Please some English publisher pick this up. I need this in my collection.

If you really really want to, I can translate the epilogue frame by frame, I did that for a friend who cannot wait. I am not accurate though, so I only managed to do 80% of it. I have great trouble translating frame by frame during a couple frames of the sex scene because the dialogue of the previous and after frames do not flow enough to make the questionable frame for making sense. One of them is due to the drawing being unclear.

Maybe if it takes another month and still no translation, then I will put them here and blacken everything out, but it will be a huge post.

Unlike Aya who knew the darkest parts of Sei yet still loves her. I haven’t read the epilogue but it seems like it’ll wrap up quite nicely for the two.

Thank you, you nailed it. You will read the epilogue and it will confirm your interpretation. Your interpretation definitely solved some of my questions concerning the sex scenes in the epilogue. At the end of the day, It is Aya's choice, and it is Sei's choice. Aya is happy, Sei is happy. If I read it correctly at the very end from Sei, there is no need of time or structure. There is no Haruki, no Mochida, no Yoru, nobody else in the epilogue. And this is how it should end, because these characters are no longer important. Notice that the epilogue is from the point of view from Sei. For her at least it is happily ever after, and Aya is walking on the footstep of Sei (in a good way).

I have finished reading the whole thing, I do have some questions about the ending part of the epilogue. During these sex scene, I understand what the dialogue mean, but when I put them all together, there is something just do not add up. as if Aya were asking Sei to molest or rape her. The sex is very imbalance. have patience....good girl..I am not a kid anymore.. penetrated <3 When I also fool around...all started because at the very beginning Aya asked Sei if she wants a virgin.. then when everything is done after the sex scene, Aya suddenly as if completely grew up in an instant. That virginity theme really confused or disturbed me...did I read it correctly or totally wrong and what does virgin really mean when Aya implied to Sei? To be exact, virginity? Anyone care to give some input? Yes, it is a happy ending but it seems to be achieved by very twisted sexual means.

I still don't know why anybody, in the story of course, likes anybody in this. Or how Sei has a job as a teacher still >somehow.

This may be because there are enough teachers still around who knew what really happened about the scandal, while as the students graduated one class by one, all that remains is just a rumor. That is, as opposed to Sei molesting that student, it was the other way around, The fact that Sei was passive while being assaulted, pretty much tells you her mind set. Hosono protected Sei from Mochida even though there is nothing for him to gain (Sei rejected him for awhile), clearly a sign that he was a witness of that incident.

If Sei were the one who molested the student, I am sure she would have been fired by then.

Ah, a happily co-dependent relationship.

A co-dependent relationship needs the two persons to be constantly fighting each other but cannot break up as if they were addicted to each other. There is no sign whatsoever that Sei and Aya do that. They actually function like a very healthy couple.

Dump Nanase. She has no guts, no hearts, and clearly put Yuni as a backburner. Maybe for Yuni Nanase is good at sex? Maybe Nanase is Yuni's type? If Nanase is that scared about being found out, then break up with Yuni. Or just a no string attached sex relationship. I see no particular advantage Nanase has over Fuuko. It is not even close.
Forget about Fuuko's "obsessiveness" or "stalking behaviour". She did one thing that automatically qualifies as a real partner. She protected Yuni when it counted. She also knows and revert to normal boundaries under serious or dangerous situation. Yuni could have been raped, and she did not even realize or thankful to Fuuko. I could not imagine what would have happened if Nanase were there instead of Fuuko.

It is not cheating when your so called girl friend treats you like an after thought, will not admit relationship, etc. This is not a relationship. This is called an affair.
Go ahead and have a nice three some, Yuni, just don't' count on Nanase on anything. Now you know when sh*t hits the fan, who will be there to protect you.

So Ghika is so pissed off that she threw a cup into the TV screen and broke it. Meanwhile I doubt we will see this henchman again, as per Ghika's "No second chance" policy.

I begin to feel, just my guess, that Ghika was turned unwillingly by Aria originally (if you recall there is a scene in a middle east desert with everyone dies except a child). Ghika's full name is Arabic. Being that young as a Lilu can really screw up the person who is essentially a child. And if Aria taught Ghika about being a predator, but then turned around and not being one, then Ghika might felt being betrayed. There are lots of reasons I can think of this hatred. Also, Aria might have felt guilty about Ghika, and thought that committing suicide was the only way to repay Ghika. Anyway, my guess is probably nowhere near the real plot.

I might be the only person here who disagree with you guys concerning Haruki.
I have never read a yuri manga with a character as pathetic as Haruki, although I admit I have not read enough yet. I honestly do not care what will happen to her. To have an alliance with Mochida is pathetic or even juvenile. No matter what happened, even if Sei never existed, Haruki would never managed to get together with Aya. Aya is like six years more mature than her age, that is, like a College senior. She is the real adult of the entire manga. She is also twisted. I think the episode where Aya has Haruki masterbating says it all. Haruki has no chance, none. Aya can play her like a toy. Should have walked away long time ago before even hatching up plans with Mochida. More to the point, should have confessed much earlier. If Aya were straight, no big deal anyway, because Aya has a good heart.

I didn't read all the series, but could someone please explain why Aya hates Yoru enough to wish that Yoru never show her face in front of Sei again, and then eat Yoru's photo?

I recommend reading the series so you can form your own interpretation but if you really wanna know my take; it's not that Aya hates Yoru per se.. More like she hates how strongly Sei feels for Yoru. She ate Yoru's picture so she could take Yoru's place in Sei's heart. She wishes for Yoru to never return because Aya fears Sei will be consumed by Yoru again, ultimately undoing all of Aya's hard work.

Thanks for answering the question. The idea of Aya eating the photo to replace Yoru in Sei's heart makes sense.

Also do not forget, that is the one and only one photo of Yoru that Sei has. Sei has a habit of pulling out the photo and talk to the photo as if it were a real Yoru. Aya accidentally found the photo when she was looking for medication when Sei was having a fever. Sei told Aya that all photos and files in the computer drive of Yoru have been all destroyed. That particular photo was accidentally left behind.

With the destruction of the photo, and text from Yoru telling Aya to make Sei happy, the ties are now completely cut.

So this is the last volume then? That sucks. This manga is so wild. I wonder how it will end.

"towards the end". That means nothing. Nobody including the artist knew that Citrus ending up having a sequel anyway. So could be this current volume, next volume. I am sure they will look at the tankoubon sales and other data to see if it should be axed or not.
You absolutely need to make sure to participate on the poll page in Yurihime. More people like this manga means the editor is more likely to extend the series. The questions are very very specific, almost as if you are interviewing someone who apply a job.

I just realize one thing, because I actually do subscribe the actual Yurihime. Some of you pointed to the color pages before chapter one, indicating 1. There is a three some 2. Yuni slept with Fuuko.
but I went back to check July issue, and there is an color ad about the new manga. It seems to be the "macro" view of the "Yuni slept with Fuuko" picture, where it showed their personal items but without them in it.
The ad shows that Yuni is on the semi-unaddress, with the items shown in the August color page around her. But Fuuko is facing her (where she cannot be seen in the August color page), standing up, and nakid.

Draw your own conclusion.

It just dawned to me that it is possible to be a lilu, not just because of the ants, but when the chauffeur stabbed Aria when she was with Chiyo. Jirou showed up and beat the guy unconscious. Then Jirou told Aria not to get more people to the race. Aria said she did not care anymore. This makes me wonder, first ichika can be turned, but more importantly, a sacred sword wielder who is immortal is probably invincible. Also, the chance of her losing her virginity is next to nothing since it seems that neither Aria nor her has yet to reach a point of understanding or desire sexual intercourse, assuming virginity also include lesbian sex.
How come the first creepy doll when approaching Ichika malfunctioned and self-destructed?

I doubt this series will get cut easily. Even if the entire yuri readership is gone, there should be plenty of vampiric readership still following. Good art, decent stories.

Aya was the one who went through Sei's files secretly to find Yoru's photo in the first place. She never told Sei that she knows where the photo is. It also seems that that is the ONLY photo of Yoru remaining. By eating the photo, it symbolizes that the sole remaining trace of Yoru is now deleted. Aya never hated Yoru. It also shows that Sei is not the only one who has an obsessive personality, but rather Aya has an even more obsessive personality than Sei.

OK, good ending. Now, I think there is an epilogue left, unless my Japanese is so bad that I mis-interpreted Sensei's thank you note.

Wait a minute, I think ichika is the good girl. My favorite. I should have known when at the very beginning that she does all these things because she is bored. Now she is the unwitting villain.
