Lol @ that part when she runs off yelling "filthy adults why can't I get any even tho I'm naked "

she cannot get laid because she has a "no entry" sign posted over her "beaver", or is it a walrus? it's kinda small, so it is hard to tell.

this totally made my day!

@Adamatari, agreed. that and the "pop one of your cherries" comment hints at coupledom, but this is Higashiyama-san/Akili-san we're talking about, so overt Yuri is still probably a ways off.

Was her hand touching Ran's boob?

it's in the vacinity, but easily dismissed since Keiko was trying to keep Ran from falling. based on that panel, you could equally ask if Ran was touching Keiko's crotch. btw, good eye! Ran's blushing does give the impression that her boob may have been touched, but most likely it's embarrassment from nearly falling.

2 chapters in. We don't have much of a look at anyone's full-bodied character right now. Just atm I see Tsukiko and Nana as hurtful characters. For now.

IMO, I would not categorize Nana as hurtful. misguided yes, but not hurtful because her actions were not intentional unlike Tsukiko's actions. Remember where Youko laments on finally understanding the saying, "love is blind?" That applies perfectly to Nana. Nana's crush on Tsukiko caused her to behave in a way that while unintentionally hurtful to Youko, were seen as perfectly reasonable by Nana; thus Nana was blinded by her emotions (which I believe you and Nezchan alluded to in an earlier reply) and how her actions/reactions affected Youko.

my response to

Link to Shinobu's perspective: http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/were_aiming_for_love_now#2

and

The original story, in Conditions for Paradise, was from Shinobu's perspective.

hehe, I honestly never considered that Shinobu's perspective; I considered it more of the foundation for the story as a whole. I suppose I was looking for balance where We're Aiming for Love Now is the root, Sides A and B are Lalah's POV on how their relationship has changed, and then there would be 2 more chapters from Shinobu's POV on how their relationship changed. either way, interesting display of how couples in LTR grow and change over time.

Ah, I've been waiting for this. Something about We're Aiming For Love Now that's so wonderful, especially in the way they rely on each other. It's nice to see a bit more of their backstory.

To be honest, I was expecting Lalah to consider going back to school now that the two of them were fairly secure in their new lives together.

nah, she seemed to eager to ditch cram school and studying for Shinobu's sake.

actually, I was hoping we could have seen both perspectives. we've been given Lalah-sempai's perspective, next I would think should be Shinobu's. however, the way the story ends in side B implies that that is it. end of story.

Funny how thoughts change as characters develop. Last chapter I was cheering Youko to fight on. Now I'm not even sure at all if I want her to end up with Nana. Nana seems immature and short-sighted, and I can't for the life of me figure out how Youko fell in love with someone who just keeps hurting her (obviously there's more to each character, and we don't choose who we fall in love with...I just don't follow is all).

IMHO, sometimes you just fall in love with the person who is most important to you. in Youko's case, Nana was that person. as for Nana's immaturity, well... OK, she had a crush on Tsukiko and to a lesser degree had those emotions/feelings reinforced and validated by the manga she was reading. when her heart gets hurt, she immediately dismisses the whole thing as "onee-sama play" because it is easier to dismiss those feelings than have to admit that your heart was broken, and I don't think that is completely an immature thing to do as many of us do it when we cannot get our way.

Also, notice that Nana is crying here. question that should be asked, is she crying because she hurt her best friend's feelings, because in that instance she realizes she is really in love with Youko, or both?

Finally, some may call this story and especially this chapter cliche, but I kinda like that the drama was forced to move the story along. truthfully, I don't think I could have taken another chapter or two of Nana squealing over Tsukiko. plus, it allows Takamiya-sensei to explore Nana's feelings and how Nana might come to the realization that she really loves Youko (assuming they end up together).

How long it's going to be yuri???

there may never be any Yuri. right now, all we get is Yuri subtext.

i've said this before, but i feel like Shou-san is taunting and teasing us. why? because he can. am I complaining? no, because, this series is very good!

Youko is so fucking beta, god damn. I give her credit for slapping a hoe but damn. Get up in there and do something, for real

haha, I had to look to see which story this one. Jin-sensei's works are starting to mash up into one big 'ol Takamiya Jin universe with what appears to be minimal differences between the stories, plots, and characters :-(

that or too many of her chapters are being unleashed on us all at once.

so there are the Yurimm Fairy Tails. Maybe Shuninta-sensei can create her own collection of yurified fairy tales. I would so wanna buy and read them. maybe her, Morishima Akiko, and Fujio could all pen an updated (adult) version?

*drooling at the thought of all three mangaka working together*

Remember kids, molesting girls while they're asleep is a surefire path to a steady relationship. Well, that or federal prison. One or the other.

but ya gotta admit, it's hella fun doing it. ;-)

in fact, I think that's how I met my ex. hmmmm..

CAVEAT: I do not condon nor suggest anyone should molest girls. women only while having a sleepover and the two of you are sharing a bed, and you better be damn sure you don't get smacked or worse for doing so!

I don't know but I pretty sure this was the very first yuri manga

the mangaka's first? and if that is true, no matter how sad this story was, it's still a really nice piece of work.

on that note, why doesn't Dynasty have a fuggin lounge for non-manga related topics? now, this may speak poorly of me, but sometimes I just want to shoot the shit and not discuss new or old releases. hmm, should I suggest, as I'm sure this has been asked of in the past?

The plot was getting to be pretty good now.

But to be honest a slight bit disappointing that they focused too long on the plot and theory while it could be a much better well-received if they go mainstream (as in yuri mainstream).

well, the manga really does try to think Geek, and while it is "heavy-ish" on the basic concepts of the theory, it kind of has little choice but to explain the theory. if it didn't and went mainstream Yuri, then there would be a lot of holes in the plot. from what I've read so far, the concepts of quantum mechanics that have been mentioned give credibility to how Manabu can do what she is able to do, and why she is determined to effectively change time in all aspects.

one other thing, we all have to take into consideration that the mangakas most likely injected current topics of the day that sounded cool and had a thread of relavance to the storyline. a couple of examples have worked, but umm.... since I haven't caught up, I'll leave any opinions to you all.

Apart from the character designs, I really get the vibe from Citrus in this manga.

The similarities I found were:

....

Although I prefer Miss Sunflower tenfolds than Citrus, I still think the latter is of at least a mediocre quality in regards of the story.

me thinks you are undergoing Citrus withdrawal and are secretly an undercover Citrus junkie ;-)

ugh, I hope not, but I see your point.

What I meant is not about the timeframe but rather that a cliffhanger that ends on a possible very good note makes me want to have it more than the ch 11 cliffhanger because that was a "negative" cliffhanger.

ummm, doesn't that defeat the purpose of a cliffhanger? cliffhangers imply angst, mystery, and uncertainly (e.g. the unknown). "positive" cliffhangers (brain fart, but I know +-cliffhangers have a name... can someone remind me of what it is called? resolution or something like that?) imply resolution and the closing of a chapter/volume. so you're saying you were ready for this section to come to a conclusion? or that you dislike when chapters end on a down note? either way is cool, but come on, don't you like it when a chapter is left unended and the tension is so thick you can slice a knife through it? In fact, I kind of hate that ch. 12 ended the way it did. it was a little too neat and left me asking a bunch of questions such as, why did Matsuri gave up so easily when she was hell-bent on destroying Mei? my first, last, and only thoughts since then have been "WTF?"
