Well, that sure was quite a ride.

Mei was expressing herself directly to Yuzu. Several times through normal conversations, before she finally went to ask Harumi for assistance.

Yuzu just didn't listen to her seriously. She heard the words, but didn't act on it. Even Harumi had to be pretty aggressive to get the message through to Yuzu and literally force her to look at herself in a mirror.

Also, it was good progress for Mei to talk with Harumi. They never really communicated directly before, and Harumi's mirth about Mei's rather cute request was amusing. Her image of Mei seemed to change quite a bit.

Crazy mood whiplash, but this chapter was so cute it ended up working anyway.

Not really sure if anyone actually cares about that at this point. I think the college chapters have framed it well enough by now, that there is no merit to any kind of discussion whatsoever about it.

It's not like there has been anxiety or tension of that sort in RfT for a long time. Relationship just exists and that's all there is to it.

The problem is that Koyuki reads as a queer character. Going through the chapters from start to finish makes me feel that she's so queer for Konatsu that many established lesbian and bi characters don't really compare when you pull in all of the material/scenes and also look at stuff such as tankobon volume covers (which are very romantic). Koyuki might not be fully aware of it, but lot of her behavior seems to suggest she does on some level. Like that toy panic in ch. 18 or the fit in bed in ch. 15 after she sees Konatsu called her and many more besides.

So unless author is willing to do respectful confession -> rejection or address it in some clear way at some point, a major character element of a story will feel unaddressed to say the least. Especially since she's the main character even more than Konatsu is right now.

I really like how this artist depicts Mizore's earnest, but a bit clumsy way of clinging on Nozomi. Things don't always work perfectly, but she puts in a lot of effort.
