I've read SO MANY yuri stories where one of the girls sits by getting fustrated waiting for the other girl to make a move. It's refreshing when that girl takes charge, and moves the ball forward herself.

Really? I'd like to hear your interpretation. exchanging thoughts on a story is fun, as long as it's an honest exchange, and not just someone telling you you're wrong and insulting your intelligence for thinking that way.

(scratching my head) I'm not sure I understand the set up. From what I got, there were two crossdressing "cool type" girls competing to see which one was more of a ladies man. A crossdressing guy showed up and tried to join. It was then revealed that the duel was staged to bring the different schools together. Later one of the "cool type" girls turned out to be a "cute type" girl in disguise. is that right? No really is that what just happened?

This actually doesn’t strike me as particularly wholesome. The whole, “if you’re just gonna dash my hopes, don’t torture me like this,” “I know that you know,” and “I just keep letting hour color smear all over me,” gives me the sense that this has happened before and Crush-chan is playing MC on purpose. Like MC’s heart is being crushed over and over but she can’t tear herself away.

Together with the whole inviting herself in thing and eating her food, it feels like she’s just exploiting the MC’s feelings to string her along and get what she wants. She wants the MC to be jealous, but doesn’t want to commit to her. And the MC knows she’s trapped but can’t pull out.

I'm not sure that's what's going on. I think maybe Yuka is purposely taunting Haru with guys, in order to make her confess. Yuka's line "Haru why d'you gotto just give up like that?" leads me to believe the kiss afterwards might be new territory for the couple. I know Haru's ending line about her color never drying and being smeared by Yuka's suggests they've been there before, and it always ends the same, but I kind to want to be optimistic about the end, or I'll feel like the story was just a depressing waste of time.

Edit: Yuka's game is still totally cruel, especially because Haru is another woman. Nothing would give a lesbian the confidence to confess her love, more than constantly talking about how much you're into guys lol. However it's way less callous than Yuka using Haru's feelings to score free meals.

Yuka seems to be playing that horribly cruel game, where, she purposely flaunts her dalliances in front of a friend, who she KNOWS is in love with her, and is just too chickenshit to say anything. Damnit why? To me it just seems sick and sadistic. Either make a move yourself, or have a talk so you can let them down easy. To leave them twisting in the wind is just MEAN man.

She is not horrible, people are just tend to be over sensitive (PC bullshit and such). I loved these characters, and Mitsuki is absolutely relatable. "Anaerobic Love" remains my favourite from Kodama, but this is very good too!

I know the PC police culture can get pretty toxic, but a sober person pushing themselves on a reluctant drunk person is pretty bad. You might debate if it rises to a level of a sex offence, or not, but you have to admit it's a dick move.

I wonder if Sena's sister will ever be introduced as actual character, or is she just a McGuffin. I know she is supposed to be off living the happy married life with her new gender undisclosed life partner, but sometimes the way they talk about her, it's almost like she is dead.

This story has a lot to unpack. Gold digging, Taking advantage of a drunken friend, poverty vs. privilege. But the thing that stood out is how american they sounded. It was a reminder that if you take away the language and culture, we are just a bunch of jerks suffering from the same first world problems.

In the end it just pissed me off by dropping a bomb on their relationship then stopping before giving us an idea where do they go from there.

Did ever mention if the teacher was married as well?

Kon's got me all wrong. I'm not thinking about how adorable a couple, her and Ayu make. I'm wondering about how many people have suffered, because their partner was under the dilution of "If my lover truly loved me they would just know how I feel".

No Kanade-san you are not making Yuzuki-chan do anything. You are letting her do what she wants, and you are letting it get out of hand. You have to put your foot down before you let that precocious little girl lead you to a place you can't come back from.

Edit: (sigh) Lets face it. A 34yr old married woman can't be that damn naive! No one would let a child do these things, without some desire for it to happen. Even if Kanade thought, Yuzuki was just innocently playing, she should stop and correct her.

I hope so too, But I doubt it. Between being a house wife, and letting herself be molested by an 11yr old, she probably doesn't have much time to check the message boards. lol.

Women treat buying gifts like a chess move. They think getting the perfect gift proves their love. I've learned that there is no perfect gift. I either get people something generic and universally useful, like a gift card, or just ask them what they want.

The fact that Yuzuki isn't drawn like an ultra cute kiddy character, seems to make the sexual nature of this series easier to take. However sometimes while I'm reading I start thinking, this is pretty intense. Then I remember that Yuzuki is still in elementary school, and get weirded out about feeling that way.
I wish Nanatsu Fugi had made Yuzuki a highschool girl, at least. However I think the point of the story, is the innocent friendship between an adult and a child degenerating into something dirty and disgusting.

Edit: Okay maybe it's not suppose to come off as dirty and disgusting, but it is. An 11yr old is too young, no matter how precocious she is.

Sex does not disqualify something from being wholesome, ya prude. Just do the smart thing and actually confirm the content of whatever you're recommending to a child in the first place.

Okay you got me. I was trolling a bit. I've always equated the word wholesome with rated G, and thought that they put Wholesome on this story to be funny. Which annoyed me. I realised the flaws in my plan, to bookmark the Wholesome page for my niece, almost immediately and scrapped it weeks ago. I brought the plan up here, in bad faith, to give my complaint garitas.

While I have NO problem with this story, or ANY of it's contents, I still don't agree with the Wholesome tag. However as long as people really see this story as wholesome and not just listed as Wholesome for a joke, I concede the point. I learned a long time ago, it's pointless to argue over the meanings of words, on the message boards.

They’re in a Group, the collection tropical girls.

Still there are a lot of one chapter stories there. It would be hard to pick out which story this one is a sequel to.
