Ok, I just binged through the whole thing in a sitting and I'm in awe at how good it is. Beautiful artwork, gay as fuck adult ladies (I was legit surprised to find that Hayate is 21 years old though) and a perfect balance of silliness, action, and romance. It reminds me of a sillier and less sexual Gamma. All characters are amazing and surprisingly well written although yeah, that previous chapter felt a lot like an ending and it certainly it feels like is entering the final stretch, I hope I'm wrong. But I will definitely be picking up the volumes once they're out in English.

Once the "Ookuma doesn't realize Kanda is a girl" gag was dropped, the series improved significantly. And the reveal about Ookuma having a top alter was amazing and hilarious, amazingly hilarious if you will. This is now of my favorite series now.

I wish Kasumi and Sakurako were as gay in the main series as they are in the extras.

I agree with the sentiment that putting the series into hiatus so she can go back and improve what she's already published is a huge mistake. The slow and irregular update schedule already had us restless, trying to pull a Murata will kill all the momentum she's build upon now and alienate a considerable amount of her readers. That said, it is commendable that she has a genuine interest in improving her old work but that shouldn't come at the expense of putting the continuation on hold.

Sayaka's line is so perfect.

Minami and Iori was framed as Iori helping Minami escape from her abusive parents and friend. When the story suddenly pivots and says "Actually hitting your loved ones is romantic", it completely fucks up the basis of their relationship, and the themes of the story up to that point.

I always assumed their relationship was based in the contrast of Iori being a complete wreck of a human being despite being an adult while Minami was mature and cool-headed despite being a teenager. Thus, anytime Iori hit Minami comes off like both being cartoony and a natural extension of her character.

Anyways, I certainly like the series more when is just about the couple in turn being adorable dorks to each other so these past few chapters have been wonderful. I'm glad someone else picked up the series but I have to say that I think the quality of the scans has taken a hit. To my inexpert eyes, it looks like they ran the raws on waifu2x and that made it lose some detail that while not being a deal breaker is distracting.

This was a wonderful chapter. I'm glad the author avoided dragging the identity of the editor's avatar.

I see that Dark Itou is becoming the dominant personality.

I feel that Risako is a self-hating lesbian that was intentionally being a bitch about the whole thing hoping this would get Kaoru to hate her and thus, force herself to drop any aspirations of having a relationship with another woman. But now that plan failed she couldn't think of anything else but to come clean with Kaoru.
