but then the monsters will already have dealt with in this timeline. even if she didn't went, it kinda already happened (like with the first meeting, as the effect of the timetravel would already be there.

If the author has thought this properly through, they hopefully will be able to explain this as well. It's entirely possible that whatever Evie does in the past, she can only limit the number of beasts being summoned, but not stop the attack entirely. In this case we would have a proper loop without any contradictions.

also, I am kinda glad for this time travel stuff, because killing such a huge number of wolfs would very likely mess up the entire eco-system.

Pretty sure summoned beasts are not part of a healthy ecosystem, quite the opposite.

Counting the pages and comparing to the tank table of contents, I suspect this does not include the additional chapter there, though.

I'll take that fist as a confirmation that their feelings are mutual indeed.

They're not together in that way yet in the story so far, though, so it would make little sense as a "proper" chapter, even less so at the current point in the story. The one page extras, on the other hand, have always been little glimpses of future events, so it makes more sense for this to be done as such as well.

So looks like she's a combination of the various versions of the legend. While she did cause the death of her step-daughter, the axe still seems to have been an accident, based on her husband's reaction.

I actually cannot figure it out how the step-daughter died, it does not look like some sort of violent death, maybe it is from an illness?

It's my interpretation, too. Her stepdaughter fell ill, and rather than helping her, she kept doing the chores, letting her daughter die by neglect. This chapter was an oof in my books.

Like Miko being a fox foreshadowed in chapter 6. :D Always love it when an author manages to work in details like this that at first just seem like your usual clever bits to illustrate the situation, but in hindsight are the actual truth of the matter.
