Since I read the raw, I want to point out something that is not spoilers but my thoughts about the November issue.
1. How hard is it for Nanase to invite Yuni to sit in the gym in order to be around her during practice? Yuni attends no club and participates no sports.
2. How hard is it for Nanase to tell everyone that Yuni is a fan and friend of hers.
3. How hard is it for Nanase POSSIBLY POKE AROUND to create a volleyball team manager job for Yuni, which makes her legit to hang around all the time.
4. How hard is it for Yuni to realize that Nanase is NOT getting fearful of coming out of the closet, but rather is a cheater. This chapter shows a part of how inconsiderate and selfish of Nanase and essentially treats Yuni a disposable f***buddy.

5. How hard is it for Nanase to go on a date with Yuni in areas where they know they will not run into classmates? In addition, have Yuni not post anything on her account so as to keep Fuuko in the dark.

Anything that is negative from Nanase applying to Yuni will be picked up by Fuuko and use that for her stalking behavior.

I probably have just finished reading Citrus for the 6th times. I finally found something that we all probably miss.
In the original series in Chapter 8, Mei was looking at a family photo. Page 15, 16, & 17. Mei's mother is in the photo. (Shou, Mei, and Mei's mother).
That is so unusual because her normal photo is always Shou, Mei, and Grandfather. I wonder why she looks at that photo at that moment as opposed to the one with grandfather in it, instead of her mom.

Got some decent comedic scenes and a fun and diverse cast, but man this guy really likes naked middle schoolers.

He's most known for his 18+ loli adult manga, so no surprise there... He continues to actively draw those as well (though not much as I think he's busy with VAMPEERZ).

I love Prism. But I am not interested much for Stretch. The author has an incredible knowledge about a lot of things, including philosophy and a lot of classic world literature.

OK, Shadi must appear in every single chapter from now on, and I don't mean as Jayanti.

He seems to be, among Yuri artists. the expert on drawing french kissing, bar none.

I concluded Mei is a sex assault victim not because of a kiss. But rather the time when she offered sex to Yuzu and told her she will be gentle. That means she has experience in sex, not just fooling around. There is also the fact that she considered sex as some sort of reward for whoever she offer, or a business transaction. This is abnormal. Anyone who has been sexually assaulted (I mean rape, not kissing and groping, there is no "be gentle" kiss or grope) as a teen will immediately recognize that...you do not even need to be a therapist to know that vibe. I myself am a victim, without telling the more personal stuff, I have behavior that resembled Mei's. So did many of my female friends and a very small number of male friends.
The irony is of course, Amamiya did NOT break any law. Japanese become adults at age 20. So if there is any sexual relationship between someone who is 14 and another who is 39, it is totally legal as long as both persons plan to get married. Amamiya is a fiance that was most likely chosen by gramps. So being a fiance it is totally legal to have sex with a 14 years old. Also, the double irony: If Harumin reach 20, and Matsuri is still 17, it can be considered a crime since there is no homosexual marriage in Japan, even though the country does have a partnership system.

Of course my assumption and conclusion can be all wrong, but then again I would not suggest you to experienced being raped (male or female) to understand the mentality. Most of you are in your late teens to early 30s anyway. Being sexually assaulted as an adult (say, mid 30s) is totally different when it comes to psychological trauma. I know, because....

This chapter finally gives us a glimpse about what Yuzu (and Mei) wants. "Newly Wed" is an "Excuse", what Yuzu does is to play "wife". More importantly, play "wife" with a busy workaholic spouse. This is her ideal future, so it is a dry run. This is the meaning of what they tell themselves, "My future is your future too". Mei is much more subtle. She being busy every day is going to be a regular thing once she takes over the school board. So what she does is "My future is your future too". Both of them act not just for themselves individually, but rather as a couple. Nothing says it more than the final panel of this chapter. This is the first time they sleep together as if being a couple, as opposed to 2 years of "I sleep this side, you sleep that side".

Sex...
Sex was never a "good" topic in this manga, that is because Mei is a survivor, and there is no sign of her improving of that front...or rather, in a snail pace". But the most important part is that, we the readers have outgrow the manga. 2013 to 2018...and then nobody, including the author, would thought that the manga was popular enough to warrant a sequel. This is not easy, because at the time, the original series has already give us the wedding epilogue, that means whatever happens between Mei and Yuzu. they will always resolve any conflict between themselves.

Right now is 2021, on its ninth year, the only Yuri that is older than Citrus is YuruYuri and then, Murciélago by a few months. . That means most of us are already in our 20s, and some of us definitely have reach the other demographics (josei). Either way we expect sex will be there in a Romantic Yuri. But the plot is still slow, Time wise we are barely finished 2 years of the manga time. (Yuzu transferred AFTER the semester has already started, and she has just turned 16). If you started reading this manga when you are 18 (or senior high 3 year), you will be 27 by now. As a 27 year old, you are reading a manga with characters still in their senior high school. Is it fair to add sex as a plot between 2 17 years old, or worse a 15 and an 18 years old (Matsuri and Harumin)? Assuming when you start to read the manga as the correct target audience (junior high), you cannot really draw for an audience of Junior High anymore anymore, because that audience would be 24 or 25 years old. Then we need to look at reality...how many 17 years old friends you have have gone all the way? and I do not mean fooling around. Sex is definitely not a topic in the beginning because Yuzu was 16, Mei was 15. Matsuri (the incarnation of sexual desire...coined by Harumin) was 14 or maybe 13.
So in the end it is not the author to be blamed. The entire plot is still about the two MC barely started out on their 3 year of senior high. There is just so much sex that you can draw. Given Mei is a sexual assault victim, I do not expect the two of them will have sex until much much later in life. Yuzu is not exactly crazy and desperate about sex in the first place. This make the two of them much more easier to be together.

Well, at least one question has been answered (Why and when Kiku fell in love with Sena.) Good luck to Kiku on trying to catch Sena's heart because she is so obsessed with her sister in an incest way, it may be beyond most people's pay grade to go after her.

This is an extremely difficult chapter to digest. It looks harmless, but it is not. For the first time, we got to see what Hina and Airi really are, mentally, they are monsters. They are still seriously playing mind games, including a suggestion to flip. Hina then uses sex to quell down Airi's suggestion of a flip, and regain total control. Yes, a teenager uses sex to control another teenager.
The only question I have for the author is, how does Hina (and Airi) have that much money to travel and pay for the hotel? Unless at least one of them has a trust fund, money can run out very quickly in Japan.
I cannot imagine death will be the final outcome of this manga. Not because it can, but rather I have yet to find a Comic Yurihime manga ends in tragedy. Maybe one of them will die, but I will not place any dollar of mine in a bet.

More likely is a completely screwed up heavily ever after ending. Such as recently, "It is a detached relationship", with a happy ending that "glorify" committing a major crime (criminal, not civil), that is, adult having a sexual relationship with a teenager.

Seriously, when was the last a Comic Yurihime manga ends in murder-suicide, or one person out of a couple dies? Anyone???
This manga is 100% Yuri. It has all the elements. I don't think it will last too long, because of the nature of the topic of the manga, but it may become one of those cult classic.

There is never any doubt that Ichika needs to be turned. Apart from being able to be with Aria, if she retains the ability to be a sacred sword user, and is immortal, that would mean she will be the best candidate to defeat Ghika. She has the blood line, but also a virgin (I do not know how to define virginity when it comes to sex between two teenage lesbian).
If you were a Ghika minion, how can you kill a fellow lilu who is the only one in possession of the sword and also the only one who can use it to its full capacity? The only downside to be a lilu is one cannot cross a barrier. But if you have Maoa on your side, then it is no longer a problem. On the other hand, if Ichika were not turned, she will continue to be a weak link. She can still be kidnapped again even if someone in the gang (eg. Jirou) being her body guard. As a human with the ability to use the sacred sword, she was literally inches away from killing Aria after getting hypnotized. It is by chance or luck that Aria confessed to Ichika that stopped Ichika from stabbing Aria. There may not be another chance for Aria to dodge an attack from a possessed Ichika again. I'm sure Ghika will make sure her minions to be mindful of "the power of love" when go after Ichika.

I presume everyone has read all the chapters including the omake. If you recall, at the very beginning, Mei was forced by Amamiya. She later explained to Yuzu that it means nothing. This makes me think that she is the perfect, classical sexual assault victim from multiple men in her lives. If Amamiya has been the only person, she would respond differently.
The way she explain to Yuzu means it is more than once with more than one person. It is just "business".

Anyone here who is dating or have a spouse that was a teenage sexual assault victim of older adult man, will know how hard it is to get certain ideas through to their heads. A lot of them do not consider most of the cases sex and love are related.

I know this process will be slow. When sex happens it happens. She is only 17, think about what that really means, a 17 years old with a history of sexual assault by adult men, with a "look the other way" family guardian who has more interest in the man for business reason, to the girl victim.

That is why I always consider Citrus Plus chapter 6 is crucial. Yuzu finally knows she can work on Mei in tip toes while staying away from those bad sinkholes.

This must be an ode to those gender-bender yuri in the 80s and early 90s such as Rose of Versailles, Oniisama e…, Kaze to Ki no Uta. It smells like yuri but it is not, it smells like yaoi but it is not. This is because we have characters who are "cross dressing", breaking the most common rule of Yuri. But then again "cross dressing" does not avoid the truth that the characters are female female physically. It is a typical formula back in the 80s and 90s to get around stuff.....all the way back to Princess Knight.

Oh man, I would REALLY read a spinoff manga of khara and shadi set in ancient egypt (?) I don't know what country it was anymore, also that was so sad.
Khara is a Thuggee, which means she most likely was born in Bengal (Bangladesh).
Shadi most llikely from Arabia. This is because there are only two major desert around, one is Gobi in Inner Mongolia, the other is Arabia, judging from the clothes of the dead people.

Aria needs to start thinking of turning Ichika, or rather Ichika needs to start thinking along that line. Treasure Sword holder can be amazing, but as a human she can easily get attacked unless she carry the sword at all times, also the sword seems to have a use by date based on how many time it was used (with the gemstones being a "manometer")
If Kara was turned 130 years ago (1707), then the scene where Khara talked to Shadi would be the year 1837, consider Khara has similar physical age like Aria and Ichika of a 14 years old, then she was born in 1691. This means she is 330 years old
If Kara was born in 1707, then she most likely was turned in 1721, which make the scene being the year 1851.
So one way or another Khara is either born in 1707 or 1693.

Also, one way or another she "escaped" from the purge started by Aria.1693 or 1707.(turned later).
Did Sakuya check out Shadi to make sure she is not a Ghika hench person?

1. Khara says Aria was the one who stole from Ghika the sacred sword.
2. Aria became famous, and possibly she was English.
3. Maoa says Aria fled to East Asia with the sacred sword, and became Queen of East Asia.
4. Arthur says that Aria killed all the elders at around 1690.
5. Jirou says Since the elders were wiped out, nobody knew about anything before c.1690.
5. Jirou says Aria was the one who turned Ghika, so both of them are the only ones who was in turns living before c.1690. No other lilu lives beyond 330 years old.
6. Authur lived in Bulgaria back in the 18th century in Bulgaria, and saw it first hand what Ghika could do with the sacred sword. She killed numerous people, human and lilus.

I really have no idea what the end of this story is going to like. Double suicide seems possible, but then so does them staying in this codependent equilibrium that they've found.

I have never read a Yurihime manga that has a truly tragic ending. Tragedy woven into the plot, yes. but not the end of the manga.

Yuni has no self esteem, Nanase is a manipulator, and Fuuko rocks. I am sure Yuni cannot break up with Nanase because Nanase is good in bed. Anybody who has any self esteem would dump Nanase right there and then. Obviously Nanase actually does not mind being seen as a lesbian, because she is close to other girls, including holding hands. Somehow she does not want to associate with Yuni. At the end of the day. Yuni is just a fu**buddy of Nanase.

I buy the issues on booth as soon as they come out.

Liz is damaged goods. Maki is incredibly nice, innocent, and is an angel. So the bitch Sumire figured out how to control Liz for her own gain. Get rid of Maki, and use Liz as a tool. I will not be surprised that she was the one who contacted the paparazzi to "secretly" take the kissing photo to increase Liz' popularity. I cannot blame Liz for her action because it is beyond of her paygrade to deal with someone like Sumire. I am sure Maki will forgive her eventually.
The band leader should have been the one to control the situation. The band should have protected Liz. and by doing so, protected Maki. Yet they have no idea of what is going on. They probably have no clue that Sumire probably has hatched a plan to poach Liz away from the band.

Nobody else can do that for you. To me, this series is cute, funny, over-the-top, close to a parody of yuri-romance >conventions, and incredibly sweet. The MCs are completely adorkable.

The only feeling that I get is like a sarcasm for Yuri (as in a parody). But by chapter 50 I started to lose interest. By the time I read it for the second time at Chapter 50, I got bored. Typical of a second reading I pay more attention to the background drawing, read backwards to figure how a chapter can be develop from the previous one. Nothing interesting there. I hope something may happen or something I miss but nothing happens. Putting Ranbara is probably a pre-text to a love triangle, especially after 90. But it is kind of strange to have a triangle when the two MC do not admit to Ranbara that they are girlfriends. Heck, Tadokoro's mom knows right away the first time she sees them.
