Was a fun read overall, but the ending maybe a bit too ... let's say ... careful. But whatever.

Hrrm. To me, this basically has the gimmick of each girls having a type, but it's not funny enough to really be a comedy, and not deep enough to be much of a romance. Kinda eh. Okay to read but nothing to really get invested in, gotta say.

I mean, manga come from a society that's still working through "if the husband cheats on his wife, it's the wife's fault" ... progress is being made, but maybe don't always expect too much ;)

I think towards the end it sometimes tried a bit too much with this character, and that character, and yaddayadda. But overall a cute little manga with at least a solid ending, even if it was kinda "okay, let's just end it here now and do the time-skip epilogue thing".

Yeah, not really too into this more recent chapters either, but it's more to do with the over-the-top edgelord-ness of the new characters than anything else. But, eh. We'll see, we'll see. Sometimes a bit of a lull is necessary to build up to something great ...

How unrealistic ...

... the mobile phone network didn't break down right at midnight.

I'd be happy, but this insane studying culture background plot is the kind of miserable reminder of Japanese reality I don't need ^^

Garbage has some relevant songs, so they showing up would perhaps make some narrative sense ...
Could see Linkin Park or Bloodhound Gang as two of the big bands of the time. And wouldn't be surprised about some more random classics, dunno, can basically be anything. Alice Cooper? Aerosmith?

dunno about stuff like A Perfect Circle, Audioslave, or something stupid like blink-182. Jet? Lostprophets? Kaiser Chiefs? Dunno.
What I want to see is something I wouldn't expect. L7? Distillers?

Can't we just do neither cliché and for example have the entire build-up be a fake-out in which Ichika sits down with Aria and Al-Kamil and they talk things out and then things are resolved and they live gayly ever after? ^^

The way I see it the moment authors make a point about talking about these things "philosophically" it's basically a given it'll be a relationship dud that just drags to some ambiguous end that's not once so far been any sort of satisfying.

Hahaha. Oh my. This just make me laugh.

And "At any rate, if we always stay like this, things might get difficult." Always? Difficult? The sister-like relationship seems fine, it doesn't seem like it will hold back Nozomi.

It would if either or both of them started a new romantic relationship.

Yeah, that was incredibly forward, especially for a series like this. I mean, using nii-san just as the "guys don't do anything for me" example, come on, can hardly get more obvious than that ...

That being said I never trust anything entirely. I've seen the stupidest shit being pulled so, you just never quite know. ^^

Going back to chapter 17 I can’t help but really dislike their mother.

Thoroughly unlikeable as far back as ch.2 to be honest ^^;

Well, that made me uncomfortable.

Me and you both. I feel like I saw something that I shouldn't've walked into.

Perverts.

... also the characters aren't so "extreme" in what they do so you don't provoke as much readers response; ie, in a different manga, the older sister would have just been a complete over-the-top psychopath and then everyone would have discussed how bad that really is or maybe try to relate to how that'd be in real-life or whatever, here you immediately get the "but see here, that's where it's coming from, have some understanding" and then ... well, what can you say?

The manga says everything that needs to be said. ^^

Is it me or she's getting more bold, also more successful?

Seems more like instead of being the only perv basically everyone's just some kind of perv now.

In a rare moment I was kinda sympathetic to the older sister, clearly she feels she's under some pressure, whether it's real or just perceived; and she isn't handling it well. But of course what happened afterwards ...

Good background chapter. Usually I'm not too into flashbacks but trust this manga to get it right and tie it to what's going on currently, too; of course.

Messed up things, such as, uh, close contact? Yuri? And of course rape, all totally the same kind of thing ...

That was just incredibly cheap and lazy.

You can see where Himawari-san got her looks. That mom, aside from the somewhat harassed expression, is really quite gorgeous.

She's got the typical airheaded mom-style; for manga/anime. Wouldn't be surprised if she just wandered off, somehow. ^^;

That skull(?) looks ... really weird.

What's with the top right not-panel on p.19 (2nd page of ch.2)? Is that supposed to be a reflection? There seem to be two bodies ...

Nice chapter.

Without being able to see the color of her clothes, I don't think we can say she's a goth. I think rock girl fits better.

tbf, Japanese rock/metal culture seems to be more into a goth-adjacent style than elsewhere, generally. Bit of ye olde glam thrown in, too.

e: Not yuri, obviously, but Kachou Ouji has a nicesoundtrack. Thoroughly recommended, especially let you go let me go ;)
