I was not expecting that at all. This was a really great chapter and that last question killed me.

That teacher went from a shy teacher to an extremely sexy woman in just one extra chapter. I really loved both couples from Steps, so this one is a great surprise for today. All these revivals are making me feel like we're going to have quite the yuri year.

Also, starting the day with a new chapter from Takemiya Jin is good sign for the rest of the day.

Pretty cute and nice yuri story for a first-timer. Wish there was more, which has been a thing i've been saying quite often with these Éclair one-shots.

The whole art style in this Éclair anthology has been beautiful, i might pick it up once it gets a western release.

I could never not like a Nakatani Nio story. The art style is so good and the characters, while undeveloped, were good.

Aww, that was really fucking cute. And that confession by Haa-chan, beautiful. At least one of these stories have a happy ending.

Still like Kotooka, don't think she was forcing het this chapter through. Wasn't she just chicken out about what she plan to reveal, by stalling it with the two boys' presence?

She was probably going to say that she's dating the kid she talked about in chapter 11 or that she planned to do a mixer and invite both Tsukasa and Washio to it. I don't really think the boys' presence did something to her plan, she probably just saw an opportunity to move things faster.

And thats what my problem with her in this chapter is. She is just forcing Asakura and Tsukasa to spend time together and she's clearly trying to force them into a relationship when they both have stated to be ok with their current status.

I absolutely love Canno's art style, but this was way too short for my liking. It feels like it could've been way better if it was a little bit longer.

While I fully enjoyed the extra chapter, once it started talking about seamen, I could clearly see who the target audience for this was. Just whyyyyyy?! I could've been still satisfied without the whole pregnant comment =.=

I took it as two teenagers not quite understanding sex more than them wanting to actually get pregnant. I mean, people say pretty stupid stuff during sex.

It feels like the author just doesn't want us to like her.

I get this feeling too. I was kinda liking her too, since it seems like she's trying to balance out everyone's feelings. But this is crossing over into forcing het territory, and I'm back to bating her again.

Yeah, i totally get what you're saying. I get her helping out the girl she likes with a guy if both parties are in agreement in doing that, but when both have stated that isn't the intention right now, she's just forcing the issue at this point and nothing good would come out of it.

She thinks that a "normal" relationship is the best outcome, is not like she enjoy this

Oh yeah, i get her motivations, but thats like trying to fix someone's eating disorder by forcing food down their throats. Even if your intentions are good, it makes you look like an horrible person who's not thinking in the other person feelings.

I feel like this author had a thing for a teacher in the past.

BTW, this one feels like it would have a sequel, does anyone know if i'm right?

Seriously. How the fuck does forcing your friend to do something she doesn't actually want to do is going to help your friendship? It feels like the author just doesn't want us to like her.

So Subaru is still the best character and Kotooka is going back to her old awful ways. Nothing has changed that much. Actually, no, it's like her character is regressing a lot in this chapter. I mean, i get it, you want to get the girl you like a good boyfriend, but what does spouting nonsense like a moron accomplish?

Seriously, you don't know what bisexuality is? It's just being attracted to men and woman, so it's definitely not the same as het.

On the paper it's definitely different, but we're in the yuri world so they're right to ask; when, in the yuri you're reading, MC's love interest turns out to be bi and leave mc for a man it's no different than het ! Brrr, just imagining it makes me shiver. This fucking shitty yuribait is a good example, and not even tagged bisexual.
Sometimes, there are even both het and bisexual tags for one character in a manga, having in mind Netsuzou Crap and the brainless light-haired character. Well, same goes for the dark-haired one, so it definitely can be confusing.

I read that yuribait one, and boy does the ending sucks. But yeah, the bisexual tag in yuri is definitely similar to the het one in some cases, like the ones you mentioned. In some other cases though, like in this one, one of the characters starts by going out with a guy, but ends up with a girl. That one isn't tagged as bisexual either btw.

Shame about not being able to see a Mei POV chapter in the series. I kinda want to know what she's actually thinking for a chance and not just guess. Also, i'm afraid of what she could actually mean by saying that we should brace our hearts when the ending comes though, but i hope she means nothing bad by that.

"Brace your heart Shini" is an inside joke from one of the typesetters/editors of the scan group to another member of the team, just ignore it, it's irrelevant.

Damn and here i was thinking we would get answers in the near future. Maybe, the author plans in coming back to this story in the future? I don't see why the author would let this particular story so ambiguos otherwise. Still, i'm looking forward to the next story.

Hmm, this one feels like is missing pages since it ends so abruptly. Hopefully we get a sequel to this one to see if the tutor is actually a player or if she's actually just a good tutor who really likes the "little sister."

I was confused about that part as well. I think it was just a weird transition, but i'm really hoping they had sex in the middle of the photo shoot and thats why the other girl was worried about the weeklies printing it.

You know I would respect the hell out of this series if they go the hardcore realistic depressing route. Like someones' bottled up emotions expload causing an incident that breaks up the group or they somehow keep this balancing act going until they graduate. Than they drift apart after several years. Than in the last chapter they get together for some school reunion and it reveals that they each found a different way to cope for their messed up love triangle. Like one found a decent guy and preoccupied herself with raising a family, another just kinda broke down and took to sleeping with every woman under the sun, and the last one buried her feelings in work.

I will pray so that nothing that crosses your mind ever happens.

It would be pretty mean and uncharacteristic of Yuzumori to react with such disgust if she did understood Mimika's true intentions since she's been shown to be quite kind towards Mimika in the past.

She's a nice kid, but sharp/on-her-guard enough too. Depends how she understood Mimika's words I guess.
I think it could really go anywhere; maybe she misunderstood and felt betrayed, maybe she did understand and is really taken aback and disgusted. All we know for sure, is that Mimika more or less ambiguously made: a confession, mentioned not being able to stay friends, cried. In response, however Yuzumori may have understood what she meant, Yuzumori was first surprised as she listened, and then frowned, gritted her teeth, made a face. And from Mimika's pov, there was this doom and gloom mood + a sense of distance between them. Seems that from Mimika's pov at least, that Yuzumori understood, and is disgusted/appalled with her.

I know she's intelligent and really mature for her age, but i think romance and confessions are still pretty much alien talk to her since many kids her age have a pretty skewed vision of what love actually is. I still think she just misunderstood Mimika's words and now thinks that Mimika is a creepy girl who lied to a child for some unknown reason.

I get what you're saying though, we're only seeing this situation from Mimika's POV and the face Yuzumori did was probably due to other completely unrelated thing she saw while Mimika was confessing her feelings.

Not sure how much I can actually ship these two since they had such limited interactions in the anime. Was there more interaction in the manga or is this a because their roommates ship?

You haven't read the manga? Well, their interactions are limited as well, but at least they're shown to have more chemistry together in it. But they are shippable because they're roommates though
