I know it's a gag/fanservice manga and I shouldn't be taking it seriously, but I'd like to point out that the mermaid queen...

A) attempted to destroy a critical step in extraspecies relations
B) caused political havoc in her own kingdom and risked the safety and sanity of an innocent scylla
C) made a half-hearted attempt on the life of someone her daughter loves
D) stood idly by and watched as her daughter was battered by rocks and almost driven into a bed of spikes

....all because she really likes tragic stories. I want to see someone slap her VERY hard, and in a VERY unfunny way.

This... this was the worst, most pointlessly grim-dark plot I've seen outside the realm of middle school Harry Potter fan fiction. The art was equally bad. This whole thing was comically over-the-top, but I don't think it was a joke, and I can't bring myself to laugh in any case. The only reason I even managed to finish it was morbid curiosity and outright shock that such a doujin was ever put to the internet where people can see it.

I'm tempted to look up more from this artist.

I wish they would explain what happened to Nanoha at that time IN DETAIL (like an ova or whatever, fuck they have 4 series but can't even make an ova out of the interesting stuff?)

The third movie is supposed to have an original plot and appears to focus on the time between A's and StrikerS; it wouldn't surprise me at all if they chose to explore that off-screen plot arc. That being said, it's a very negative way to end a movie, with Nanoha being severely wounded and facing life in a wheelchair.

But is there more?! I need this cuteness in mah life.

I think Atoki has set my headcanon, and now super-serious and mature Yuugi doesn't seem to sit well with me.

The dust still hasn't settled on what pairings came out of LoLK. This is a new one for me, though.

...Okay, I could maybe deal with manipulative ex interfering with the new couple and whatever, happens all the time in this kind of story, can be done well, etc. But holy shit, girl, you're freeloading at your ex's, who you cheated on, putting them at risk from the dangerous stalker who's driven you out of your home, and there is literally no one else in the entire city who would give enough of a shit about you to grant you refuge. This is a seriously delicate situation. So, naturally, you decide to get so aggressive and gropey that she walks out of her own apartment, openly talk shit about her new girl, and make weird and judgemental demands about their living space and eating habits? What?

Just, like... Is this even a person? At what point do I call bullshit on the writer for inventing this obvious caricature? I know there are real people who would pull shit like this, but she's so pathetically guileless about it that I don't understand how any other character, even the gullible bundle of innocence that is Donut, could take her seriously. Like, you can't get away with being this toxic and manipulative without being WAY better at it than this. Just... P'Mew dated this person? And was serious about her? This girl? Really? Gah.
