Wait, can someone confirm for me whether this is an April Fools chapter or not...? Because I can see both that mentioned here as well as seemingly proper discussion, and the download file name certainly does say "april" at the end?

My understanding is that only pages 14 & 15 are an April Fools joke. Page 16 repeats page 13, and proceeds normally (I almost said, “plays it straight”) from there.

I actually commented the same at first. Then deleted the comment after checking the first chapter to be sure, and in a rare case the game is not described as an otome game this time after all.

Although this still doesn't necessarily make it shounen, of course.

I'm not sure how to feel about it, to be honest. I don't really feel like there's the need for a triangle or harem of any sort here, with how nicely the dynamic between Natori and Lapis is shaping up, but we'll see where this ship decides to steer itself.

I guess this could help with stopping her plans for Diana, but yes, the dynamic of our main couple is just perfect even without making it a triad.
