I just read the story, it really is sad. There's a bunch of works by the same author that tie into this story, actually, so some things may be unclear if you haven't read them all. Still, it's quite nice.

I really did like this, unlike pretty much everyone else above me. It was amusing and the angst never really was that much, though the tone was kinda weird. The Space Battleship Yamato in the future was a nice touch.

I'm not saying it was particularly good, but I enjoyed it. I don't know why, but I've always liked Comedy-Dramas, though this one didn't really flow too well.

I really, really love Hammer's art style, even this older version. I really wish he(?) would do more yuri works like this, they're adorable.

Did anyone else find this a bit hard to follow? I don't know if it was the translation, or the pacing, or just because I'm sleepy, but oh well. This was still nice though - I do enjoy these AU's, and I really hope there's a sequel out there.
