I's wild how different the quality focus can be in 3D anime.
On one hand we got Girls Band Cry with amazingly lively (and fruity) looking character animation and expressions especially! And on the other hand we got Highspeed Etoile which has super high res renders of futuristic motorsports cars but characters that are barely more than moving cardboard cutouts xD

Curious about the direction this manga will take going onwards
So far, our main couple got together pretty fast and are very cute and fluffy! Funnily enough, most of the drama revolves around other pairings.
Leads me to believe the next few chapters will focus on Uda and Riri.
Really don't know where this manga is headed otherwise, tbh, but hey sometimes the fun is in strapping in for the ride

We got a couple options for possible plot points to come up.

UdaRiri getting together and how ex-Prez and Nurse's relationship will go from now on are the first to come to mind. It's been a while since Mashiro's health was brought up but it certainly would make sense to circle around to that at some point. Especially considering Nagisa made it her goal to study medicine in university for it.
Speaking off, now that they'll be second years, the usual "decisions for the future" stuff is also on the table, like where to go after High School, staying together, moving in with each other, etc. Lots to choose from.

a cursory image reverse search and subsequent going down the rabbit hole revealed that this is in fact not a Citrus fanart but rather an illustration from Italian yuri light novel "Orange Cream". Specifically from chapter 11.

I kinda wanna see more yuri that has the romance as the secondary plot, and something else like in this case, dance as the focus and driving force for the plot to move forward. And yes, I do not have enough imagination to understand how to make the dance in the scenes look pretty and graceful in my head.

I concur, an anime of this would be amazing. As for how/who to animate it, every time i imagine it i think of this scene from Fena: Pirate Princess. Production I.G did such a fantastic job on that

Well, that conversation went better than expected. Just Mei making it clear she wants a committed relationship and she's not conformable with poly, with no shaming.

It seems people don't have a strong grasp of what poly is. A polyamerous relationship is one with 3 or more people who all love and care for eachother equally.

What you are describing is an open relationship, where in two people either date or are married, but each mutually agree to allow the other to engage in usually sexual (but sometimes romantic) relationships with others, while staying in the relationship.

Poly would imply that every girl Karin has a fling with would be expected to have an intamite connection with Mei as well.

Poly relationships can be very committed, but Karin seems to enjoy her quick flings as a way to blow off steam.

Not to say I expect this story to go in a poly direction. Quite the opposite, actually, as it is clear that none of Mei's potential love interests are particularly interested in eachother, and infact seem to get jealous quite easily.

What you're describing is only one way a polyamorous relationship can be. There are countless other ways and setups as well, and they most certainly do not require everyone to be romantically and/or sexually involved with all other participants. Keyword: metamour.

If you prefer everyone in your polycule to be involved with each other that's valid, but claiming that's the only correct way for a relationship to be polyamorous is reductive and frankly just straight up untrue.

That's where the problem lie, i don't think they want the other to date Natori alongside them. You're shadowing the biggest problem, are they friends right now ? Yes. Are they friends enough to share the love of Natori ? I clearly don't think. Lapis and Diana seem rather selfish when it come to Natori.
The problematic isn't whether or not they want to date Natori but rather did they want the other to have Natori's love aswell and the answer is no.

tl;dr : Probably not poly because neither Lapis or Diana want to share Natori's love with the other.

Of course with their relations to each other as of the current chapter that's absolutely correct. I was talking goals, how they'll (hopefully) eventually end up. There's plenty of room for growing and evolving for them to get to that point still

Yea to me this reads as the sister being in love with the girlfriend but using her brother as an excuse instead of being honest about her feelings. she says "break up bc he deserves better" but she thinks "break up bc i love you (more)". Girlfriend knows that, so calling the sister brocon is gf saying "be honest about the reason and i will".
