This is my second reread, however, I still cannot quite understand what Mei meant when she said “I’ll be gentle. It’s your first time, right…?”. Obviously I understand the implication but what confuses me is the way she says it; Could this be some sort of hint that Amemiya had already taken her first time, so by falling back unto what she knows in this case all the things that had been done to her, she does the exact same to Yuzu in effort to be accepted and needed by her? Mei does say “I want you to need me. Could you do that?” And then she goes on to say “You’ll accept me, right?” And then obviously that is when she says she’ll be gentle as it is Yuzu’s first time. This may all just be me overthinking it but I would gladly appreciate someone else providing their input on the matter

You do not overthink. I read the manga 7 times. Only a person who suffered multiple sexual assault can say that line. One wonders how many times Amamiya rapes her in order to manipulate. Also, there is no indication of whether Amamiya is the first one.
Also, she clearly only knows what sex is for totally wrong reason. A weapon, A reward, A mercy fu*k, none of them has what we consider as the correct mindset.

This is why Yuzu only kisses and maybe at most fooling around. Yuzu knows Mei is screwed up.
She is willing to spend as much time as possible to let Mei heal.

One thing I still do not get it. How did Yuzu know Mei was wearing the matching ring as a pendant while as usual her blouse completely cover from the high neckline all the way down? Did Yuzu has X-ray eyes?
The only possibility is that there is one ring missing in the box, and Yuzu figured that out. And still, go straight to Mei to tear up the collar, as if she knows 100% where it is?

This must be the most confusing manga that I have ever read. I do not mean bad plot, I mean I do not find any sense ine main arc, let alone the minors... Its all drama. Something like this would be OK in a one-shot, even one chapter is more than enough. And I still cannot figuring out who the three MCs are. They all were drawn similarly, facial expression hard to tell. etc etc etc. So in addition to being confusing, it is also frustrating. I wasted my time on, thankfully, four episodes. I do not care for fifth, or beyond it
It is one of those confusing ones you will not bother, or worse, never think of "Oh yeah! I wonder what happens..."

Finally if Shion only wants to dance because of Kiki, then she can quit (as long as she tells the truth to Kiki) not just to be best friend, but to be her girlfriend. Toribami is just a partner in dancing. Since when dancing partners has to be best friends? Especially among professionals. Both of them need to think more about the future. What if once they are in university. kiki found someone who loves to lead and has a closer height, and being male. How many dancing partners kiki has before Shion finally understand being dancing partners has nothing to do with friendships or lovers.? In fact having both of them being rivals , that is good for both of them, as competitors, so that they push each other and make both of them better and better.

For some reason, when this artist and this author work together, it is always good. If you read mangas drawn by this artist but also as the author, there is something missing. Also, the drawing style is not consistent. But if this author works with other artists, the results are still decent.

Good plot, but drag out a bit. 9 or 10 chapters would be good enough.

This is more of a gender-bender than a strict Yaoi.

I think unless there is a miracle plot pops inside the mangaka head, this series is now heading towards its death. There is no special development for ANY characters from this high school here. First it was the ultimatum from Sora's mom to Sora and Ayaka, which turned out that the mom was a whole lot more mature and loving than the both of them. No development there as Mom's head to Hokkaido. There is a huge opportunity to work on their front especially if the two of them were allowed to move to Hokkaido to test out whether the school is good or not, PLUS there is a small chance that the marriage failed so Sora's mom (and Sora, and possibly Ayaka) not going to be homeless. You can blame Sora's mom for a lot of stuff, but one thing you cannot blame is she tried the hardest to climb the social ladder for the sake of Sora. Then not even chapter 18 works by introducing someone not from the high school. It almost feels the author has already finished the very last chapter, and then just draw a bit of stuff here, and there, so that when the Guillotine chops down, it will end "nicely" and no feelings of "rush"..
The author did not use "Sara" to do a development or as a significant side story. Then she did not use her from then on, as if Sara has a sell by date.
No matter how you look at it, Sora and Ayaka's friends are not that sharp and certainly intellectual not that deep. All of them are from the same grade, but Sora and Ayaka seemed to be at least 2 grades senior than the rest of them based on their behavior vs. their friends. These friends look more like the hanging around type than the really serious type. If it were the latter, you can bet that the author will develop some plot for the group to steal Sara from her bf. But she is too weak mentally, so it was not going to work if she failed to take charge no matter how hard her friends trying to help.
To be honest I cannot imagine any exciting plot coming up; rather I am waiting to see when the chop coming down.

Also, that dress really shows off just how stacked Hina is. God damn, girl, leave some titty for the rest of us

This is exactly why I feel Hinanon is so sweet. She gives off the air of modesty. Not that "showing off" is bad, but the way she dresses fits her personality. She does not have that "show off" personality, nor she has the personality of "using sex as a weapon and manipulative tool. I cannot even remember when was the last time I read a Yuri-Shoujo manga which the story of the main character REALLY abides the rules of no sex before marriage. For all intention and purposes, she occupies the role of "Virgin" in this manga as opposed to her "Adult" lover, while you can tell that her high school friends are "confused" or cannot figure things out. Too experienced to be clueless, too ignorant to completely understand sex. The very last scene when Hinanon wearing wedding clothes with her friends completely confused, says it all.
Speaking of which, She is a classic example of a Bi. Notice that she seldom, if ever at all, expresses which sex is her preference. This makes her mentality seems even more mature. Such as answer usually make people even more confused...
If you go back to the very first chapter when Hinanon went to visit her lover, the way she talked to herself is completely honest, no fear, no what if, just really the way it is, Sensei never did reveal every thing how they knew each other. And if you think about it, there is actually no need to "play the tape backwards". All we need to know is who is the couple, and what sort of situation they face, and what kind of future they are working on....the type of thinking some out of closet folks think about. If Hinanon explains things to friends as if her partner is male, those friends would have no problem of understanding what is going on. This also shows how little social guidance or non profit organization out there to help couples or young sexual minorities. Many organizations only work with teenagers or College age students. Hinanon would be stuck with one foot to the front, the other still stuck at the back, on top of a bridge.The situation which her lover has already cross the bridge does not necessarily mean her problem is completely resolved. Hinanon still has stuff to work on. This is why, personally, she is the Yuri character that I most admire.

Speaking of which, sensei wrote QUITE a few fluffy stuff, unfortunately I do not have time to digest them all, she is prolific.
I wonder how many background scenes were drawn by her partner. Her assistant IS her partner. Some of these scenes are tiring to drawn well, a lot of background or scene stuff, but they can suck out a lot of energy from the artist if the artist just want to concentrate on the front. (ie, characters). Not every artist has an army of assistants like Rumiko Takahashi.

Something is not right, about Tsurumaki. This dating method of his frankly will not be tolerated in today's society, not because there is anything wrong, but because it is no longer considered modern. The response also reflects this. I have never heard of people buying flowers because each type of flowers represents some sort of romantic meanings. I bought flowers for someone simply because it is pretty, that's it.

Maybe my dar suffered a serious malfunction. But somehow I think he is a closet gay. Men selling women shoes are quite unusual at this day and age, plus at his OWN age, and the mangaka never did explain why he worked in this industry despite in the panel he was in the middle of trying to explain but then the entire topic was dropped as if he never talked about his career whatsoever...there is a small chance that he actually intentionally drop the topic discreetly, as he never talk about this topic again.

The buying of flowers, the so called "boasting", all of which seemed like he was reading a dating book aiming at a woman because he absolutely has no clue of what he is doing. This thus creates the strange situation of a accidental lavender marriage. He did not seem to be happy, during the ceremony, but rather giving off vibes of "sigh of relief and now I can pass in the society, and then now I can hang out at the local gay district". The fact that his wife seems to give him 0% respect also reflects the unusual situation. If they had tried sex before the marriage, a 0% reflect from the woman to the man says A LOT. Or rather, a hetero or bi woman trying to have sex with a gay guy. She will probably wait for another 10 years before he can perform again, with the help of a fluffer of course. Usually one will say "Let's call this off" (especially your wife seems to have no loving feelings plus even look down on him), he also seems to have no clue of what is behind the scene, and also does not seem to CARE what is behind the scene. If he were doing all this due to social pressure, then he has just gotten a grade of "A". How much more perfect it is that you wife is completely not interested in you, while you yourself just convinced yourself the marriage is great but in reality "I can finally pass". You also see that there is no visiting characters in the wedding which is his family, and he seems to have a very short temper as he clearly want this thing to finish as quickly as possible. It is probably a better situation since there is no need to act with extra effort to convince everyone that this is a real marriage despite in reality it is a lavender
There is a very good chance that the two women will come back together if the story continues. As for him, divorce will no longer affects him since no matter how short it is, he WAS MARRIED. He can also blame her for unable to have children, while she can counter-accuse too. Perfect.
I don't have ANY proof of this. But if these guesses are injected into the plot, this manga would instantly turned into something spectacular good.

Actually it is not uncommon than you think. The two types of women that I have dated did exactly what you just described, Both are widows. You just have to remind yourself that if you keep having a hang up of this, you will never have a successful marriage or relationship. You need to remind yourself that you are chasing a ghost, but it does not have to be that way. One of the things I did was to listen, to learn as much as possible about their deceased partners. Never say things like "I am chasing a ghost...I will never be able to be loved fully by you". Just simply do not think about it, and remind yourself, this was then, this is now. If you marry that person, consider that you also marry the ghost. Sooner or later their feelings will change, could be one month could be 5 years. So the most important thing you need to know is never feel hurt and remind yourself that this is normal. Now, if you think that you cannot possibly wait for 5 years, then you may think about breaking up. But usually the only reason for breaking up is because the clock is ticking down towards menopause closer and closer and you do not want to have a kid who essentially only has one parent. My best friend also has the same "widowhood" problem. But thankfully she finally understand that it was unfair to her partner because she still kept missing her dead boy friend from almost 2 decades ago. Once she "woke up", she put in every single energy into her then current relationship until he passed away. She loved him so much that she swore she will never marry anyone from then on.

This is definitely the most "Yuri-ish" Yuri that I have EVER read. Even the characters look and behave like some of my friends who are gay, bi, or trans. There is something underneath that is clearly unique, but on the surface you cannot really tell except you recognize something is off. You have to change your own point of view from straight to queer and suddenly everything will make sense. Other wise you will always feel like an outsider looking in and never quite sure what is going on. Not a bad thing, not a good thing, just a thing.

What is the name of the magazine that this manga is serialized in? It is quite obvious that this is an on going manga, but being on-going means that it is serialized in a magazine somewhere. Information such as the name of the publisher, etc etc.
This is interesting because the series is definitely a Yuri, and is published once a month, based on some of the side notes on pages which the translation team either forgot or do not care. These side notes actually can contain some important information...
Anyway, Yurihime is the only magazine that fits the bill: Yuri only series, a couple of one-shots, and maybe a LN. Neither Galette nor le Paradis are published monthly. For example, the former one only publishes 3 times per year, and is a Doujin kind of anthology.

As for this particular manga, I have nothing to say because I have nothing good to say. I'll just leave it like that.

Fuuko just needs to finish high school, and work for a few years being a policewoman, and after that, open up her own PI firm. She will be a very successful PI because her stalking skills are way off the chart. She explains to Yuni about how she managed to take that photo of Yuni and Nanase, as if it is a piece of cake. I am sure she can be filthy rich simply being paid to spy on a cheating spouse, take photos, etc.

This is certainly more well written than that clusterfuck that is Liberty.

It is interesting because Liberty is my second favorite and Mhy Girlfriend is my third. You cannot really compare both of them simply because Yurihime and Galette by nature is different. Yurihime published once a month. Galett is technically a doujin anthology that runs 3 times a year. Also he subject is different, the triangle is totally unbalanced. Here, it is centered on Yuni.

0:52 is too late. I cannot even consider it as an NTR because Nanase routinely NOT think about Yuni, or put Yuni as an after thought. It is almost as if she was experimenting (bi-curious, gay-curious....whatever) and use Yuni as the guinea pig.
We begin to also see where Fuukos background is. She never asks for more, probably because she was treated poorly in her home.

The finale scene is epic. Not because Toda wanted and succeeded in kissing Tanaka, but rather without any warning, Tanaka closes her eyes EXPECTING a kiss, even though she was still surprised that Toda went ahead and did it. You can also tell towards the end of the manga, Toda and Tanaka can read each other minds...usually only long term couples can do that.

Of course the epilogue confirmed indirectly the relationship. Tanaka knows Toda more than Toda's sister knows about Toda. This is beyond best friends.

I also want it to really lean into the drama and be utterly unhealthy for a good while, but I wouldn't worry. Sometimes the dark-haired girl goes hard instead, even today. Admittedly, though, she is set up to soften eventually in this series here.

And Knight Heron has indeed been doing some good stuff (and doing it well) this year.

Ah, the famous Detached Relationship. I should probably read up on the controversial stuff like that one and Liberty. Hoping this gets many chapters to

Nowhere near as good as Detached Relationship or Liberty. Not even close. The set up smells of CItrus, but it is not even 1/10 good as Citrus.

I see no reason for this series to continue for more than a year. Just can it to avoid further damages and let some young guns to have their fresh materials printed instead!
