This was great, I liked it a lot. Unflinching from its core premise, and the message from the author at the end about why they made this resonates with me. Stories like this aren't told, and they should be!

Though how the hell did the sister get with that guy???? That's a story that needs to be told too.... or maybe not, honestly, I'd probably find it annoying lol

Whether this manga should have the yuri tag is a BIG debate but I think romance should absolutely be removed.

Considering they're both ace, I don't see how Matoi's romantic feelings make a real difference in their relationship? They already do some of the "romantic" things couples do and like Yuriko, Matoi doesn't want to do other romantic things like kissing either. And they're willing to stay together and prioritize each other? Isn't that pretty much everything Matoi wants from Yuriko?

I think that's basically what they're moving towards understanding, but that bridge of understanding one another's feelings is hard to gap.

Also, for my personal thoughts on the subject of the ace discussion, I love this manga. I've loved where it's gone, it's great to see ace representation done well, in a way where people aren't changed "cause they found the right person", where things are a little messy, hard to describe, hard for people to understand and interpret, cause that's how these feelings are. Yeah it may not be the fluffy romance a lot of people would enjoy, but I think stories like this should be told, and it's great its been told in a way that isn't like, offensive or undermining y'know?

I'm not actually ace/aro myself, in any way, for the record. I just love seeing lesser explored queerness shown in manga! It's great, and if even a couple people here went "oh I think I get how ace people feel", or if a couple ace people here felt seen and represented, then I think it did its job well.

I recently was thinking about this question, or one similar. The Chrono Cross remaster came out recently, and it's a little half-assed, very much like most Squeenix remasters/remakes. So I tried thinking of what the game I'd want to be remaster/remade the most would be, even if it's just a low effort Squeenix one.

My answer was it'd have to be a game that's basically impossible to get access to these days, and also that will literally never be remade without some kind of divine intervention. A game where you're like "God I just want it to get a second chance". And I have a game that's just that

My offer is Panzer Dragoon Saga. It's a brilliant masterpiece that no one ever got a chance to play, because it came out in 1998 on the Sega Saturn lol. And you can't play it NOW, cause it's 1500 freaking dollars, and the Saturn is the boogeyman of emulators, it doesn't run well at all in emulators (though that's better these days, and will get better every day, it's still not perfect)

Sega would never ever remaster this freaking thing. They lost the source code years ago, so it'd need to be a 100% remake, and that'd be a LOT of effort for something only I would buy lmao. But I'd love it to happen

This also kinda reminds me of that... I think it was a manhua, which only got one chapter, about a girl who hires another to snuggle her at night. Apparently this is a genre.
