Frankly I liked this development all the same. Neeko has an ally now, someone who's close enough to her lifestyle to understand where she's coming from but also distanced enough to have a realistic perspective on how to fix the problem; even if she can't be blunt about it, it still feels like she could be a positive influence here. As has been said before, romance is pretty much the last thing Neeko needs right now, so I'm not disappointed at the lack of it this chapter. Doesn't mean they can't be shipped further down the road, anyway. ;)
