Worth mentioning that this doujin originally came out in 2003, which makes it pretty damn old for a Touhou fan work. For frame of reference, Embodiment of Scarlet Devil came out in late 2002. Probably one of the first Touhou yuri works ever?

Shirobako is pretty great. It's a look into the anime industry that tries to be realistic, most characters are likeable and there's no romance of any sort, so there's a lot of potential for shipping.

There are very few yuri doujins for this series out there and seeing one translated is awesome!

It also manages to show how ineffective the hierarchical Japanese work culture with its blame shifting and sweeping mistakes under the rug can be. Watching the worst parts nearly drove me up the wall and made me appreciate my job and work environment.

e: I kind of think the art style resembles Kumichou's, but then again I found Shittorioblate's works to also resemble Kumichou's in some parts. Maybe everything that somehow looks rough starts to look like Kumichou's at some point if you look at it long enough.

I tried running it on another laptop and get a similar slow down, but this time around the game completely freezes after 15 minutes and only tabbing out and back in makes the next text appear.

This is really strange. I'm even in a different country using a different isp. The only thing that's the same is my steam account. How frequent is this bug? Welp, I'm going to have to bear with it. No way I'm not playing that game.

It's funny to see that Manase toned down on the HonoKotoUmi jealousy while Drill seem to have made it now their staple.

I've verified the game files and just noticed that I've played a good 30 minutes without a slow-down. I hope I'm not jinxing it right now. >_<

Supplemental: I did manage to play for a couple of hours but when it stopped to make dinner and returned, the game had slowed down again. Verifying doesn't help so I've got no idea why it was running fine for some time.

Lately Yohamaru has really grown on me. I always thought I'd never waver from Rubymaru, but this is fine too.

Getsuyoubi no Tawawa on the other hand seems to be real cringe material with the hardworking middle-aged man and school girl, though. Yuk!

This made me laugh, although it was a bitter laugh. I'm still pretty much on the fence whether or not I should watch season 2. The pacing of the first one was a bit off and they crammed too many character in to few episodes.

The object of the older girl's affection seemed so genki that this might have even been able to turn into an upbeat and soothing kataomoi story first before segueing into the age gap story. (Wait, am I really asking for that?!)

I've finally gotten around to playing Kindred Spirits and ran into the freezing problem on the second day.

A three-hour session on the first day was fine, but now the game starts to slow down considerably (probably frame rate stuff) and runs at snail pace after precisely 15 minutes of running. None of the above fixes have worked and the developer seems clueless on the steam forums too.

I'd be really grateful if anybody has an idea. The game itself is great and the romance character-driven, but having to restart the game four times an hour is a big inconvenience.

So.... Did anyone like, notice RioxKurea Cameo? They were the chicks who called Natsumi to lunch, right? The ones from Ume Maru's Secret Shakespear? Am I the only one who saw that???

I think I have a few boxes full of 1960s pulp magazines stored away. The ads in them offered really outlandish stuff, at least that's what my impression was when I read them in my teens.
