Can I just say how cool/good a friend Umi's friend was, she was supporting her the whole way, calling her out and her girlfriend out when she didn't agree with stuff, sticking up for Uni when she needed it, like for real she was fucking amazing, I want a sequel where we see her get her own girlfriend because I just really like her character

I don't think I've ever see such a great friend portrayed in these kind of oneshot, especially when it wouldve been so easy to make her jealous or do the whole unrequited thing. Very happy with this one

Mehhh they both felt a bit OOC for me. I did legit laugh when they both clutched at their chests from the "heartbreak" when Sayaka at least hadn't realised she was in love

Also the fucking dude randomly putting his hands against the wall going "this is what I mean when I say I like you" was so out of nowhere it was like the mangaka thought shit we can't have a guy acting TOO decent

Its nice to see some Sayaka/Kyoko stuff again though, and in all colour! I miss these two

With the whole "that was gross I don't get it" kiss, I totally felt Yuu's state of "well fuck this". I like that she was called out for being fucking weird and not even because she and any unrequited feelings - I think it's a possessiveness instead of being in denial about her feelings, the reaction to the kiss was totally the opposite of what I expected. Like that should've been the eye opener here but nope

The whole winning the toy thing, seemed like it was Yuu's way of saying I've had enough of waiting around for your bullshit and so I'm doing it for you. I'm not really sure where they go from here though. Unhealthy manipulative and ambiguous relationship? Or will Yuu just decide to drop her completely? I guess we will never know.

I want it to be the latter, I feel like the payback comment was a real Mike drop moment. But mehhh. Would've preferred the obvious Emi is in denial about her feelings/unrequited childhood love route

Just read all of these in one go, mixed thoughts about it, but for a love comedy love triangle I am actually kind of enjoying it?

The Yuri for me outweighs the childhood het pairing, especially as MC dumb protag is so invested in his manga that there hasn't been ANY real romance with him and Sarina. I do like him though, more so than the usual protag as he's not TOTALLY clueless

Plus damnnnn after chapter 19, that reveal was top notch. I was still hurting from that page ( https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/joou_sama_no_eshi_ch13#13) and its nice to see that it was something to later be registered instead of just ignored as a lol Yuri is gross joke

I would be very surprised if there's no Yuri end somewhere, just from how it was treated in earlier chapters, I feel like it's been taken more seriously than other love triangles

Im glad this happened because in the previous chapters Asami was shaping up to be just using Minato and if it turned out that she fell in love with her along the way I would've been so pissed, like that doesn't excuse all the messed up reasons she got with her in the first place.

Also really enjoyed Minato's grown up attitude towards Asami's "confession" where she really just tried to turn Minato against her mother, of course her mum is going to prioritize looking after her daughter instead of her ex-husband, it's not like her mother has money or time to spare, literally in the beginning chapter Minato makes us aware that they are poor

I would now be pissed though if Asami backtracked like I love you pls let us be a real couple - her mum is never going to approve and also both her mum and Haru know how messed up and fucked up Asami is

Why don't we just chuck in another time skip and Minato can be with some other girl instead DONE

Yae is really not like meh whatevs, she is super bothered by it, that why she said the very realistic but kinda shitty thing of "if you can't tell if it's love or not maybe it isn't" - not because she wanted to give her real advice but because she was pissed at this girl for now crushing on another girl when she was rejected back in middle school

It's totally fair, if my old friend from school who I was crushing on but was super straight turned out to be gay I would be also be like wtf are you kidding me

Also pairing that with the fact that the girl the old friend is crushing on is a "masculine" version of herself just makes things real complicated

Interesting premise, but this twist would've been a lot better if it had come a lot later in the series, to find it out straight away it loses a lot of impact. Also it's weird we get no explanation on why this girl has like 100 personalities, even just a thing from the sensei being like "no one knows how she became like this" or something idk

Still quite interested on how this will turn out though. Can't imagine it's a long series with this much information in the first chapter though

Clearly gonna be Ayaka/Chitose at the end which i do not want as who wants to get with someone pretending to be their dead sister

I love everything about this parody, especially as it hits the "stupid protag + harem" cliché so well, even the Yuri side couple is still believable in a het romance comedy, so I am living for this whole one shot (waaa I want more)

It's nice to see how things play out when normal logic is applied and that it's only the dumb protag who has no idea what's going on haha. That locker scene though yesss

I love everyone on here going "aaah girlfriends, my first Yuri! My first awakening!" as it was totally the same for me, was just about to write a comment along those lines

Seeing these two again was so nice and nostalgic, I remember how much I enjoyed GF when I first read it. It's nice to see them both being adorable as always

Though my favourite page was still easily the Morinaga page at the end. I know how it feels reading back old stuff I've done, SO CRINGY! But girlfriends will always have a special place in my heart
