oh jeez lol, i wanna say man you guys are making such a big deal out of a COMEDY, where it's all supposed to just be a joke, BUUT i can understand some jokes to certain people can be in poor taste. myself i don't like all those american pie movies, or not another __ movies, so not like i can't understand :/ however, i myself find this manga really funny cause i CAN take it as a joke (and yea not a lot but i did get bullied a bit before i moved in 6th grade, probably woulda gotten worse if we hadn't moved) and it's a poorly done representation of an s/m relationship i think is cause it's a comedy? the point is to take it out of reality in how it's supposed to be to make it funny. anyways, i sure as hell hope it doesn't get more like the real her cause i really didn't like that one lol.

anyways, BEST LINE EVER lol last page: "Waah it's like an old RPG where even picking no still gives the same result!" XDXD

edit: OH MAN haven't seen LIFE in forever....that one got realllly out of control...at first i really liked it and really rooted for the MC but...after a while that main bully girl just like literally turned crazy and got stupid. that author is great at making crazy faces lol.

i really don't think kashiwa actually like likes the idiot boy lol. it's hard not to be pleased when someone else, regardless of gender, tells you they like you. and for kashiwa, this has even more special feelings cause he's the first BOY to say he liked kashiwa as a GIRL, without even knowing she used to be a guy. it's like a confirmation of her being female. confirmation that she is who she really wants to be, and others see her the way she wants them to see her. so no, i really see 0% chance for anything between them, and absolutely no reason to get worked up about it.

well...instead of just fobbing off her sister...with the whole room to be with everyone in it makes me think it's a 3 way relationship. i mean, the dude saw the two sisters kiss and didn't freak out or get mad lol. plus, the way that ume stuck her tongue out at him was to kinda like, "i got to kiss her for the wedding too" or something along those line. it didn't have any big anticipation or anything before hand, so it means it hasn't been that long since they last kissed either. natsuki's gotta be with both. hell, she may even just be with him to have a baby (the natural way) if the look she has on her face when she puts her head on her mom's stomach was any indication of a desire for her own.

anyway that's how it looked to me

So i personally do not think that pleasuring one another is the ultimate expression of love. what IS, is something i think only those involved can really know, and for each couple, it is something different.

When i said it i didn't mean exactly that the act of pleasuring the other is the ultimate expression of love, but that you love someone so much that you are willing to do it, if my girlfriend wasn't into that then i wouldn't have sex with her, that wouldn't change how much i love her
I am extremely old fashioned when it comes to that though, so yeah i do think that sex is something quite special, though i'm kinda biased to that since i've been netorared before, also 'cause i'm a scorpio
But seriously that's just me, i'm in no position whatsoever to say what is wrong or right, especially in a website about yuri where several of it's members already came out of the closet, myself included, most of us aren't exactly in the "standard" of society
Yeah i do believe in astrology to some extent

well like i said everyone has their own idea of expressions of love, and that's yours :) for me, there's just way too many people out there who have sex just to have sex to see it as an expression of love.

btw scorpio here too, huzzah scorpios! haha.

i didn't even read the whole chapter released cause i found myself caring so little lol...just skimmed it then remembered the comments XD

haha yay for featured stories...lol loved it, and after like 10th re-read still love it. i think the scene where hotei kisses mayo and touches her is way hotter than any flat out porn tbh. it's the...allusion to what may happen, their desires, etc that is much more appealing to me than open sex scenes. cause to be frank, there's not really a whole lot of um positions one can do for sex, so after reading who knows how many, you don't see a lot of variance. now, foreplay on the other hand, kissing, touching, etc, as you can see in this, can wildly differ from story to story. how it's done, when, with who, where. a lot more variance can be put into that. the desire in scenes like that seems a lot more ionno, legitimate? passionate? than when they are actually having sex, cause god knows we've all already seen the same facial expressions/looks/moans/groans involved in that.

downgrades my opinion of an author when i see it used :/

Because of anecdotal evidence you collected in NW Bumblefuck, USA? Yeah, I'm sure that's an accurate assessment of how 300 million people behave and justifies judging an author's writing when you yourself can't even manage proper capitalization. Grow up.

Now now, no need to judge a person's personal experiences. They are the epitome of what shapes their view of the world after all.

lol yes, i read/write and expect all posts on a website forum to be college thesis quality. good job. lol. anyways, in general, NOT to say that the US is the be all of america (i in fact quite detest a great deal of things in this country), but when someone says i grew up in america, they usually mean the US. if it was in brazil, or canada, or fucking hell, they usually specify. and that's just from what i've seen and heard so forgive me for not talking to every single person in the world. add on to the fact that a lot of stories that do say this, have something else specifying it to the US. OR, the fact that people in US call themselves americans, while those from other countries on this continent call themselves what have you, so that when someone says america it again means more specifically the US. and i know some areas do do it, but speaking in a broader sense of the country as a whole. if it was really a US culture thing, i think it'd be part of our media, like you see in brittish shows on bbc doing it all the time, or in any number of their movies i've also watched, yet it's rare i see it on anything made and shown here. if it's a cultural thing, you can't help but put it in your media, because for you, that's simply the way things are done.

the author COULD HAVE (enjoy those caps) happened to visit a town (if she even did) when in the US that actually did kiss on the cheek but, i find that doubtful. if it was for business, then chances are they visited a big city, to have been brought here all the way from japan for it. if it was for pleasure, then it would have been a tourist trap, which again, small chance of it being a big kissy town considering those are all about sucking as much money out of any tourists as they can. before anyone frills up or puffs out, these are just assumptions off of educated guesses based on my own personal experiences, but i think they come close to the truth.

just out of curiosity, for those of you who are not in america wherever, when you DO hear the name america what pops first in your mind? the united states? or the continent as a whole? and for those of you in the US that DO kiss on cheek, do you live in a big city or small town? is it just your family that does it, or everyone you know?

but to be more on topic i just still have not seen a lot from this series that makes it unique.

yknow you say that fujiwara contradicts herself saying she has no friends yet has a lot of girls confess to her, isn't that kinda not the same thing? she says so herself, she has classmates, and people who come visit her at club, but all of them keep a distance from her. like it was stated, associating with others is not the same as actually being friends. and just because someone confesses to you when you don't want that kind of relationship doesn't mean they could be your friend. just cause they have romantic (or think they do) feelings for her, she has to then accept them as a friend? they obviously don't know much about her, and clearly have these idolized images built up about her. i personally find fangirling (like, the serious zealotry type they love to show in mangas or that you see at a justin bieber concert) kind of disgusting, and would myself not be interested in trying to build a friendship off of that. she's not lesbian, at least in the beginning of the story. so she finds all the confessions off putting, or, as she says, "i honestly don't know what to do with that sort of thing." the small text after that saying, "as to whether they are actually serious or not..." shows she understands that not all relationships in a girl's only school are "real," whether they at that time think so or not. and the first statement, considering she doesn't even have any idea what to do with both them and their confessions, i really doubt they even come up as friend material in her mind. so she has distant classmates/fans/club members, random girls she doesn't know making questionable love confessions, and that's it. doesn't sound to me like that's any friends. so where's the contradiction? remember, she never said no one liked her, just that she didn't have any FRIENDS. and she doesn't, and still doesn't, even with the appearance of hirosawa. you can still have someone to banter with and not be friends.

and where may i ask did you guys actually see a scene/conversation about the girls crying when giving a confession/getting turned down? i reread the whole thing and didn't see it anywhere. or was that a reference to kaori crying when talking to miu? because that's only one girl, out of how many, that has been shown to behave like that. and one girl, out of how many fangirls, to really actually have an honest to god lesbian thing for fujiwara, is an accurate development imo. the conditions under which she was "confessing" would naturally make her cry if she really did love fujiwara. i mean, how many other girls came up to miu for that same thing? none that the author showed or mentioned, so for us that's a solid 0. you can't really base the seriousness of all the other girls fujiwara mentions on this one girl considering the circumstances of the confession. unless of course it was all a reference to something else then ignore all that lol.

as for the whole extortion thing....fujiwara broke a vase, asked miu to keep it a secret, who clearly says in thought she wouldn't tell anyways, then states "i'll do anything!" so when miu asks her to go out with her, she agrees. She's the one who said she'd do anything, without a threat being placed on her for it. then later after the whole karaoke thing, clearly states the convenience for her to finally have it publicly out that they were "dating." yes, she didn't know miu wouldn't tell, and yes, japanese people are very subservient and have a difficult time saying no, but i can hardly look at the whole thing as "extortion." it would be if miu blatantly says, pretend to go out with me or i'll tell, without the offer to do anything she is asked to do already out there on the table. if anything, it's actually the other way around. i mean, miu is using fujiwara to see what it's like to date someone, which naturally will grow, however platonic, feelings towards each other. fujisawa on the other hand, is simply using miu to block off all the confessions. seems like that's a lot more cold hearted. but either way, that is taking both of those completely out of context in consideration of any actual feelings and situations they were said in. for fujiwara, that's really more of an added bonus, as shown in chp 1 she obviously didn't even consider that part, and pounced on the thought of having a friend. and as for miu, it was simply an opportunity that arose for her. the good looking "prince" of the school was begging for her silence, stating she would do anything, when she had just been thinking about the futility of a girl's school.

anyways...so far i like the whole premise and idea of the story, wish it could be longer to really flesh it out. whole lot better than the other story she is putting out atm lol, the school detective one. although i think kisses and sighs, considering the length she had to work with it, is my favorite even over girl friends. i liked the intensity that one had that girl friends didn't.

why does she looking like a boy make this any less of a yuri? that's being incredibly superficial. having a preference for girly girls over tomboy girls is fine, but don't deny that a tomboy is also a girl and say this is just a het story lol.

He likes her .... I can't breathe!

And then you think we finally got ride of him and BOOM! he comes back to say his final "Imoko" ... I love this series

I am completely confused as to who he was talking about, I assumed Youko, but I also thought he was talking about Maki, but then for Youko why would he call it a "Losing Battle" unless he knew Youko's orientation, honestly what he said, no matter who he meant, only makes sense if he knows Youko's orientation and intentions .

All well one more chapter till the special Hug

you don't need to know someone's gay to know they hate you lol. youko made how she felt about him quite clear XD

there are as many ways to love someone and to have a relationship with them as there are people in this world. society is what tells us to think otherwise and we bind ourselves down by it. i've had...a LOT of introspection on myself, trying to define "what" i am sexually. without going into a big long story i've come out the other side realizing that, i love who i love, and i'm attracted to who i'm attracted to, as simple as that. both can be towards same person, or not. you can try to put a rhyme or reason to it, but for some people that just fails. you yourself are who should determine what your relationship is with another. i mean, just look at the word itself that we have chosen, to label what it is going on with you and the other person. it is a connection between two people. how you are connected, what it involves, the compromises made to keep it, are all determined solely by you and that other, not society, because that's how they say you're SUPPOSED to act between the two of you. So i personally do not think that pleasuring one another is the ultimate expression of love. what IS, is something i think only those involved can really know, and for each couple, it is something different.

might be cause i'm reading these as chapters come out and just need to reread it all together buut, i'm finding it pretty hard to care about what's going on with meru lol. and honestly cause there was no real introduction one by one for each of the characters other than ruki and maybe sachan, for the longest time i couldn't even remember who was who. they were just...all plopped into the story at the same time and were almost always all shown together, so made it hard to individualize them in my head :S and i didn't like asuna and fue's relationship from the very beginning, when i was able to discern which was asuna that is lol. think i kept mixing her up with maasa. not to mention all the god damn names are so similar other than 3 of em lol. maasa, meru, remi, ruki. or fact that meru, remi, and ruki also have same # of letters in their names. for the first 5-7 chapters i had to keep reminding myself which name belonged to the mc...lol. unless there was a purpose behind it...terrible job picking names in this one lol.

yes things do have an expiration date in our bodies..........but the thing is they usually last quite a bit longer than until puberty, at the very least most of them do, and can i remind YOU of something here? magic is not your power, you are just channeling it, magic comes from the planet/universe around you, if it comes from within you then it is not magic it is KI and KI (even fantasy KI projection like in DBZ) cannot create something out of nothing like magic can

STOP!!

Magic in stories is whatever the author says it is, you can't just come in and impose your definition "magic comes from..." on it and expect to be taken seriously. It only has to be consistent within the story it's being used for. So your whole magic outside/ki inside thing fails on that basis alone, and that is sufficient. Magic in Salomelic is whatever Mera tells/shows us it is, and if the mother (unreliable narrator that she is) is right, in this world, at least for this family, magic vanishes at puberty and that's how magic works.

i was just about to put this thanks!! anything in ANY story is as the writer wants it to be. that's why it's fiction. it has no bearing on how things work in real life. a surprisingly large amount of people i run into don't really get that. although i think until things are further explained in this story (does she really lose it or not in truth?) you can't really say what type of magic she has.

and a side yes it's entirely possible for magic to have such a short lifespan. why couldn't it? only a lack of imagination would say it can't.

I just loved how the artist draws Mei's pained faces. You can just feel the angst radiating from your computer screen.

HAHAHHA SO TRUEEEE!! XD

The version on MF was an incomplete draft that was posted without Yuri Project's knowledge or permission. This is the complete, quality-checked version.

this is why i no longer use manga fox and haven't for quite some time. i felt that my computer was dirtied every time i used their site lol, and then it started listed EVERYTHING i'd check/read as licensed. and honestly, it feels like there's no longer anything new to read that's actually new and not done before so was really no point to it. this site is only one i use now to read manga lol. cause even if it's as cliche as all (eg. citrus lol) it's yuri and that makes it all ok! =P

edit: actually only reason i used MF as long as i did was cause of their comment sections on the mangas, cause LOL at riling up all the 12-14 yr olds who think they know everything.
