Kasumi knows exactly what she's doing. In a sense, I think she's actually the more aggressive one. Sakurako's way of showing affection is just more obvious (or extreme?)...

I've been thinking this for a while. Kasumi is clearly aware of what she is doing. She's using the push and pull tactics to keep Sakurako on her toes, especially because she would lose her mind if Kasumi was too affectionate.
That kinda line is not something Kasumi would say to anyone or to mess around.

I assume their parents are paying the rent and buying all that stuff? Its not like they have jobs - and even if they get part time jobs they cant make the 150k yen or so a month they'd need.

^Yup, that's the Sunny Day ending, where Rin renews her contract with Saber and keeps her around at the end of UBW. And that scenario has spawned many doujins about Rin's daily life with Saber (and occasionally Shirou).
Of course Rin is the head of the house, Shirou is the house-wife and Saber is the butler/bodyguard. XD

Your "common sense" is actually just your preference. Many forums do apply this rule because it's a bother to listen to people's complaints, not because it makes the most sense. Please, just think about this: Why are you reading comments on a series you don't know? Do you lose anything by not doing it? If you don't, then you have no reason to do it. If you still do it, you wilfully expose yourself to something you don't know. In that case the only thing that matters is whether you care about spoilers or not. If you do, you made a mistake. You are asking the majority to bend for a few odd cases who want to look at something they don't need to. You're asking people who naturally discuss what they came for, to add spoiler tags for pretty much anything, as a spoiler is so ill defined.

^Uh... what? Why would it not count as yuri? They are both girls. If they have a romantic/sexual interest in each other its yuri. Pretty straightforward? Now, usually they are depicted in an OT3 with Shirou, but it's a fact that Rin is attracted to Saber and that Saber also highly respects/values Rin. She is also famously weak to Rin's advances and attacks.

^I didn't post a spoiler anyway. The person who should know better in general (not necessarily on this site, rules differ), is the one who looks at art of something they haven't watched. It doesn't matter how little time it takes, if you discuss something you tend to talk about its aspects. What counts as a spoiler or not and what people think is important or not also varies, so it's far easier to just not read the comments than to make everyone put spoiler tags in front of everything, no?

With the resurgance (or is this just "surgance"?) of yuri anime in the current era, I'd say this has a reasonable chance of getting either a 12 episode season or an OVA. Nothing bigger than that.
AnoKiss is in a weird area of being just more generally known for a yuri manga, but also not being high attention seeking like Citrus or YagaKimi.

That mindnumbing pedo dress-up yuri manga got an anime though, so I guess all you need is lolis or fanservice...

I've said it before, but there is no chemistry between them. This is a "pairing for pairing's sake" case.
In an alternate world where Touko isn't involved, this could work. But it would require a lot of effort, because they have nothing in common or any reason to get close.
