Strike Witches season 1 ought to do, if you're okay with anime. While I've never touched the light novels, I have seen the first season and feel like that's enough to understand a lot of what's going on elsewhere. At least speaking in terms of the various incarnations of manga and the bevy of doujinshi there are, I guess.

Make sure you save everything as a .psd file while working. Don't get rid of your .psd's till the chapter has been released (i.e. you see it here or on YP's home page). When you're finished, use the settings described in step 6 of YP's editing tutorial to save them. Then upload it to mediafire or some other file-sharing site, post the link in the thread and get ready for someone to come along and tell you what you did wrong (these devious folks are often credited under "QC").

Also...just to save someone in the future a bit of trouble, be sure to do everything with layers. Leveling needs its own layer, for instance. Lastly, triple read the guidelines to make sure your release is proper. http://wiki.yuriproject.net/guidelines

Image editing software - preferably Photoshop, but GIMP can work if you know the program (or you can use multiple programs if you want) - is the only requirement for editing.

In addition to making that rather important distinction between serious relationships and not-so-serious relationships, the tag is meant to single out series/stories that focus on romantic developments. Whether that be lots of "I love you, let's be together forever", or the actual illustration of a romance.

With that said, we have quite a group of people who tag things, and many tags have been under some degree of revision at some point. So my words on this hardly hold true 100% of the time.

Just wanted to point that this was requested, but is already here.

meh. There will always be disagreement about what qualifies as an "eyesore". Any status other than cancelled (which is totally beyond scanlator control anyway) can change at any moment. I could name three yuri series picked up in the last two months alone.

The series is marked as "complete". I'm pretty sure that's all there is to it...

For these two-page comics, I think it would be very nice to have some color coding or other denotation to show which comes first in reading order. Danbooru highlights the outside of the first page's thumbnail in green, and the outside of the second page in yellow. Like so.

Would highly recommend visiting the release post if you'd like a more typical English translation. There are two versions - I chose this one because Carcharias is one of only two doujinshi artists (that I know of, anyway) that use a lot of old language, and it's kind of important to retain that tone.

Anyways...this is a weird series.
