From my understanding it was less sleeping in graves than it was her corpse being in her grave and what everyone saw was something more akin to astral projection. (Though not exactly the same since her vampire form was still a more or less physical form.) That's why when she transformed into that thing that got into what's her name's room she could get through the locked door with ease. Her physical form as a vampire isn't her actual body so it's far more immaterial than it normally would be.

I don't recall about eating but in Carmilla, which predates Dracula by 20 years, the eponymous vampire can handle sunlight just fine, she merely doesn't like it. And from what I recall, crosses and religious imagery were much the same. (And religious hymns hurt her ears but didn't actually harm her.)

You shouldn't expect people to forgive her immediately. It's not easy to change, even if you're trying. Most reasonable people would wait to see if she actually succeeds first.

If you need to reread it to wrap your head around it, then it's kinda messy. It doesn't introduce all the characters clearly enough nor differentiate between them enough. I most of both currently released chapters before realizing there were even two separate dark-haired girls with long hair.

You're overlooking an important detail. The only thing Nikaidou gives a shit about is Tadokoro. So if Tadokoro is fine with letting what's her face off with this slap on the wrist then there's no reason for Nikaidou to care either, so long as her bullying behavior doesn't continue. As far as Nikaidou is concerned, if the person isn't causing problems for Tadokoro they're simply not worth her attention at all.

If it's better than Vivid then I may give it a shot at some point. Though I'd only really given Vivid a shot largely because I knew Nanoha and Fate would be involved. The enormous paradigm shift in the series was actually not really something I'd been expecting, though it was by itself tolerable.

Not just good defense but Nanoha has been repeatedly shown to be able to tank some serious damage. There's a reason Nanoha's been able to eventually mop the floor with basically any opponent she's come up against and her ridiculous offensive output is absolutely not the whole reason for that. Unlike Fate who has absurd evasive capabilities and high damage output, Nanoha has exceptional offensive output, great defenses, a good ability to take a hit, and then she's rather intelligent and driven on top of all that.

I've only recently started reading Vivid (actually mostly just this match, one of the thumbnails awhile back here on Dynasty caught my eye when I was thinking that I should give the manga a shot and see if it was better than the anime) but the manga seems almost as crappy as the anime was which is an impressive accomplishment considering the anime just kinda cuts out in the middle of a tournament that it had been hyping up for several episodes.

I legitimately don't see how you could possibly interpret it this way. There's nothing to suggest Nikaidou went to the right here at all and her facing to the left suggests she would have randomly had to turn around just to go that direction.

I like how Nikaidou leaves to their left which looks to go on for awhile and then three panels later she shows up to their right implying she just did a lap around that building in a matter of seconds.

I think Tadokoro disregarding Kirigaya altogether and instead worrying about Nikaidou getting in trouble would be far more likely. Though neither Nikaidou nor Tadokoro strike me as the sort to willingly resort to violence in the first place. I think it's far more likely that anything Kirigaya tries would simply blow up in her face with both Nikaidou bd Tadokoro largely being totally oblivious to her efforts.

Is Alicia only six years older than Fate? According to the wiki her birth year was 0034 while Fate's is 0061. That's 27 years of difference.

In Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Sound Stage 02, set in 0063, Fate mentions that Presea's behavior changed drastically about 2-3 years ago. This coincides with the time that Alicia's (who died at the age of 5) old memories ended, and Fate's own began (with 22 objective years in-between).

22 years before 2-3 years before the beginning of the story would be 0040-0041.
