TBH this is definitely deserving of a horror and tragedy tag of some kind.

People really don't tend enjoy getting jebaited with promises of something fun and lighthearted only to get last-minute rug-pulled with horror and suffering even if it's still behind a thin veneer of parody. Personally, the trivia box stating explicitly that the MC is now dead, trapped in her own head but still able to think and feel while being puppeteered around by a crazy yandere necromancer is the point that definitively goes too far to not be tagged more clearly.

I love horror, don't get me wrong, but it's definitely a genre that people should have the basic right to decide to get into rather than having it sprung on them 90% into the narrative when they obviously can't choose not to read it anymore because they've already read it just to get to that point.

Im sure it will get them. On DS they often leave off spoilery tags for a bit on a new story as long as its not something really bad that might trigger people.

This is literally the premise of the story though:
-Random normal person walks into someplace dangerous without realizing it.
-They try to charm their way out of danger, but fail and is instead stabbed to death with a sword through the back.
-Their dead body is raised as a shambling corpse and her mind is locked up inside her head unable to control herself or do literally anything, but still feels the sensations of her walking dead body that she has no control over and is now effectively a slave of the person who murdered her specifically to accomplish this.

The End.

Another thing I swallowed in one go because I saw the [end] tag, and I sometimes wonder why do I skip over some of those :P It was pretty good, but it's kinda funny how it was 98% fluff, 1% violence (basically just that feral wolf at the start), and 1% sex (also half of it at the start). Really bizarre combination if you think about it, but it somehow worked!

That’s the joke. The whole schtick of this series. It’s SUPPOSED TO BE DUMB AND GOOFY. It reminds me a lot of an inverse version of that “You’re Totally in Love With Me, Aren’t You?” manga where it’s just as goofy and the whole joke each time is the MC asking her friend who’s obviously crushing on her if she loves her and the friend always denying it. I think the only reason people are fine with that one and bash this one is cuz this manga has a more realistic art style and isn’t in 4-Koma style, so subconsciously think it’s supposed to be a realistic drama and not a silly comedy.

Maybe this isn’t your brand of comedy or whatever, but that doesn’t mean it sucks. It’s actually doing what it set out to do quite well.

Whatever, you can say it's supposed to be like this, "dumb and goofy", only problem is it is not like that, I would say it's "senseless" more than dumb, she's just making unrealistic excuses that no one, not even the most oblivious person would think, and "frustrating" more than goofy, because up till now, or at least in the latest chapters it hasn't been funny at all.

And it's nothing to do with my "brand of comedy", I actually quite like this type of manga, for instance another one that uses this same type of dynamic and is being uploaded right now in the site is shoujo manga protag X rival and guess what, it's pretty funny and I like it a lot.

Another thing to add to the senseless of the story, and someone else pointed before, she's supposed to be a "former womanizer" or "woman eater" or whatever, but how come when she can't get these obvious signals? Or what, you expect me to think every girl she hit on wore a shirt saying "I'm a lesbian"? or the rainbow flag or was registered in the national lesbian catalogue or something? IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, like most of this manga, but the main point is, it's not funny, because there's a lot of things in shoujo protag X rival that are senseless too, but at least they're funny, this is just stupid

I think the tonal contrast really funny, especially how Hiroko is totally into her and in deep denial. Yeah ok, this chapter is kinda wacky I was so confused with the conclusions she draws but believe me it gets better lol.

In my opinion at least it's frankly just annoying to have 3 introduction chapters to a series that all end in the same frustrating punch line, and only escalate in absurdity each chapter. Especially frustrating when the "joke" is simply, wow she really must like men!, I don't find it funny personally. It's good that you're enjoying it, but I think the frustrated reaction from a lot of the readers is definitely understandable and justified.

I guess you just expected something else from this manga and it didn’t happen, that’s all there is to it really >.>
