Somebody from /a/ re-edited the first volume with tankobon scans. Quality is quite a bit higher, and so are the levels of lewd. Tags updated, maybe worth another look for the SW-crazed.

It's not complete yet, so it can't (shouldn't?) be added as a chapter. The whole thing is under Table Turner here...

Well, I sort of agree and disagree. I don't think there's one perfect example since everyone is different and sexuality is fluid, not static like most people make it seem or want it to be.

I suppose I was mostly interested in positive expression by a notably bisexual character. Any example fulfilling that would be "perfect", in my book.

Also, sorry if it seemed like I was going after you in specific. I was speaking more in general terms and out of general frustration. I've seen topics surrounding this subject derail into negativity towards bisexuals and didn't want it to go down that path, is all. ^^

Don't worry, I didn't take it that way at all. We have pretty similar feelings on the whole, and my entire reason for posting initially was due to my frustration with the tropes - and some of the negativity that can be brought to light because(?) of them. Nice to see that avoided in this thread.

^Been wondering the same for a while now. Optionally, maybe just something like holiday could be relevant as well. I'm no good with gauging interest though, so I can't say much about that.

Sure. Applies the other way too, which is part of what makes Octave an imperfect example.

Also, the stereotype of bisexuals two-timing or up and leaving someone of the same sex to go back to the opposite sex is really getting old.

Octave? Setsuko is arguably bisexual altough of course it is really of no big relevance too the story.

Oh, thanks. She remains largely a mystery to me, and her sexuality is never brought up properly, but it sorta works.

I think that depends on whether or not Emi adopted Ryouko's use 'em and leave 'em policy. I mean she did use, near enough, the exact same words that were used on her. But, then again, Emi was talking about finding love again so there is definatly hope.

Yeah, I most definitely saw it as the latter. Following the narration, Emi found a new love and was intent on pursuing it. She never had any intention of leaving Ryouko, so I see nothing to suggest she had any reason to leave the new girl she found.
If you also factor in the "bisexuals = swingers" attitude that I've seen Saki Kaori use a few times now, I feel a bit more confident with that original feeling.

Posting images en masse is really tedious at the moment, as it currently requires reverse image searching, and then, typically, trying to figure out the best name to give someone off of a danbooru/pixiv page.

I'll continue to do what I've been doing - slowly posting old stuff from the backlog, and the things you've requested - until we make the Images section a bit friendlier for requests.

(Edit: Unless of course you're talking about stuff that wouldn't go in the Images section...in which case I'll run through my folders sometime tonight or tomorrow to see what we don't have up.)

Where does the credit page background image come from?

It was, but when we launched this we moved all the one-page comics into the Image section.

Sorry, I just felt...obligated to say that.

It's Kokoro! She's one of the main characters in the plot of TH 13.5 (Hopeless Masquerade, a fighting game), and the game's final boss. If memory serves, not much of that game has been translated yet, nor are there any plans to finish the translation.

In the game, her masks operate as a way for her to express her emotions, and much of the plot revolves around her losing one of them. Though by the end of the game, she has learned to cope, and express some emotion without her masks. She's easily one of the most moe characters in the Touhouverse. Here's hoping for some proper yuri for her before too long!

This story was cute. Could've probably used a bit more blushing, though.
