It's definitely not apt to use Ritsuka yet without proper confirmation. Even her nendoroid is still named Gudako. Hakuno is assuredly the canon name because the source materials (the games) use it as the default name for both protagonists; pretty big difference with Ritsuka being the canon female name based off of an adaptation that featured her as an extra in the background while some other guy uses the name.

On the bright side, I've heard people say that an interview with Aniplex mentioned something about wanting to use Gudako as the protagonist if they ever create more fate/go anime adaptations. The only reason (according them) that they used Gudao was because he already had a voice in the Drama CD, so they just went along with that. That latest TV CM just teased anime Gudako and ugh, when will it happen?

Thanks for the corrections. I have to admit, I'm not really too familiar with the Fate series in general, so just discount what I've said so far. I agree though, I really do hope that she'll show up in the anime.

In regards to the pairing names involving the Protagonist of Fate/Grand Order, she does have a canon name - Fujimaru Ritsuka, similar to how the Fate/Extra protagonist's canon name is Kishinami Hakuno. So with that in mind, can all of the pairing names with the Protagonist be changed to Ritsuka instead for consistency's sake? Also change the single Medea x Gudako pairing name, since Gudako is another nickname for the protagonist. Thanks.

Was it ever officially confirmed that Ritsuka is her canon name too? Or are you basing this on Danbooru and other similar sites?

Actually, that's a good point. I just checked and that name was only ever used for the male protagonist in the drama CD.

However, considering Ritsuka is a gender-neutral name and the protagonist for Fate/Extra shared the same name regardless of gender, it's probably a safe assumption. It can go either way, at least until the an official name for the female protagonist is actually confirmed. If anyone has more information about this, please correct me.

I mean, as far as crack Touhou pairings go, this isn't that far-fetched - they have at least interacted in canon, which is more than one can say for some other crack Touhou pairings.

Nonetheless, I kinda like Tama's portrayal of the pairing. Their other pictures of Sanae x Doremy have Sanae being doggedly persistent in her affections for Doremy. On the other hand, Doremy is a bit weirded out but will sometimes show her dere side towards Sanae, which is nice.

Also, I bet that that guy at the end was Touko's sister's boyfriend - or at least he liked her before she died. I'm pretty sure he won't develop feeling for Touko as some weird replacement thing, though he will bring more sister-related drama. I am looking forward to where this goes, though.

Really, really late response, but yeah. The anime was based off of (one of) the bad ending of the original visual novel, while the manga was based off of one of the good endings. I'm pretty sure that's how it was, anyways. Most people only know about the former though because of the ridiculousness of that ending itself and how it was censored with the eponymous "Nice Boat".

I found it great that here Madoka and Homura started dating without bothering to tell anyone. Also poor Kyouko, both her romantic interests weren't dreaming about her - or in the case of Mami, not in the way she probably was hoping for.
