^tbh the manga is so wild that you appreciate those small wholesome moments it provides from time to time.

The next chapters will be make or break for me when it comes to this manga. Well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I was really dreading this moment. Riri and Uda became the second big thing in this story, so if their relationship is in some way messed up it'll decrease my enjoyment of this, and so far I really thought of this as a great manga. And by messed up I mean in a meta way of course. I don't mind if Riri turns out to be a piece of shit or something similar to that, as long as it's well-written. Although considering the tone of this work I doubt that. Hence why I dreaded it so much, with characters just being too nice for their own good.

People don't get it, Tsukushi is pissed, and rightly so. She was supposed to be the one to make the move and Hinoka ruined it all. At this point, we all realize what kind of awful girl Hinoka really is for doing that, and all we can do is hope that Tsukushi realizes that too, and does the right thing. Since it's the interwebz I have to put it somewhere, I'm just being sarcastic. Or silly. Or both.

I gotta admit I rolled my eyes but with a smile. I don't mind, I'm not that thirsty for those two to get together and I can wait. If the author wants to have a little bit more fun with them, so be it. Maybe if it's ending soon, they're just doing a little bit of meta-trolling. I'd do that if I was in that position.

I'm not sure how exhausting it would be in the long run, but at least a short series with those two sounds like it would be fun. An experienced fox girl takes care of a less experienced kin, with the latter unaware that the other is a fox.

The whole encounter with Firefly was so artificially crafted that it was hard to get into it. Unless that's part of the actual ingame plan which would make some sense considering certain factions.
Still I'll take my cute yuri when I can.

Regarding stuff like this, I always preferred "subtext" stuff. It allows for fandom creativity to flow and the official stuff usually ends up cringe anyway. And that's about any romance, be it gay or het.

^It was actually a surprisingly fun show up to somewhere in the middle. The ending "arc" of the anime really felt as if they tried to push way too much at once though.

^I think that's sort of a spoiler considering it's leaked info so far. Rip people who try to avoid those I guess.

I love their artstyle and marireimu stories

Having finished Vol 4 of the light novel, I gotta say I'm not that big a fan of the "new" Euphie. It just feels to me like a completely different character. Too sudden of a change. I get that it's plot-relevant and all that. Also, while usually enjoying a nice strong top on a nice weak bottom the whole energy-feeding thing and how it's explained makes this a bit unsettling. And while usually the uh the sub being all shy and reluctant can be cute, Anis being outright afraid of her life force being sucked or whatever made it feel a bit... Wrong. Neither wholesome nor cute

And the whole Ilia and Lainie thing It just took such a sudden dive. It was growing nicely in the background and it felt like Lainie got suddenly pushed into a relationship

Still had fun following Anis and her new helpers and their shenanigans. I hope it was just my mindset or I'm dumb and misunderstood stuff and the later volumes clear things up for me.

Also, those explicit chapters, are they available somewhere in English. If they are canon bonus content maybe I can change my mind about stuff after reading them. Unless it's just pure smut >.>

I feel that the ending tried to do too much with too little room. Like it tried to jerk a few extra tears while trying to make our girl move her ass forward quickly and at the same time make an awkward attempt at adding something hopeful.

Regardless of my feelings towards this last chapter/epilogue, it's a great depresso story.

Finished the "main" story today and I gotta say, this game sure is a treat for yuri shipping.

Well, her clothes are about to disappear among the sea of butterflies or something.

Darn, I thought we had another chapter of this amazing manga. Still, all those extras were nice.
