However, my main takeaway is that servant lady is great and her relationship with the queen is wonderful. I'd just want her to be more of a sadist (the servant).

As I understood it, the girl we've been following is the dream version of the horned queen (and also the dream version of the girl from the beginning of chapter 1) and I don't get how that works and how she can be two (three?) people at the same time.

Idk, we could also put more stock in Shiori saying "Some say that things taste the most delicious when they're rotting..." and take that as "most monsters find the scent of you all the more irresistible because you've lost the will to live". What Shiori herself finds appealing, however, might indeed have sprouted from her entering puberty as random suggested. Not entirely out of the question I think.

Maybe is as simple as her desire to die being so strong it works as a sort of mating call for monsters to eat her (she wished for something cruel and kind that would kill her or let her live on a whim). That would mean she gives off the rotten whale smell under (on top of?) the delicious smell.

Which would mean that, by wanting to live, Hinako would lose both her good and bad smells, leaving Shiori very disappointed.

I'm not sure if this means Hinako is enjoying being alive more now that Miko will have someone to be with after she's dead, or it means she has more reason to be ok with dying since she doesn't have to worry about Miko being alone.

The food one, though a bit disgusting given how I imagine the flavor of the soup on someone's skin, remains one of my favorites ever. We need more groups of three kouhais topping their sempai together.

A little bit dissapointed she just wasn't a masochist wanting to be bullied (still may turn out to be the case. Fingers crossed) but I liked seeing how Elsa started to fall for Evie.

Also I misread "titleless" as "titless" and I was wondering what Elsa's breasts had to do with anything for a few minutes. The theory I had was that "titless" is some obscure idiom about lacking drive which is akin to one lacking... tits.

I thought one of the twists was going to be that the girlfriend didn't exist and dark-haired girl made her up to get bully-girl to make a move on her. The ending of the story doesn't necessary contradicts this interpretation, but I wish the girlfriend and boyfriend would have been even a little prominent because they barely matter in the story and that takes away much the fun out of the cheating tag.

Still the sex was hot and the relationship it's twisted enough so I'm saving this story.

Started reading on a whim because I heard it was messed up and, sure, the piercing chapter did a number on me (I kept cringing and saying "oh no" over and over and it was the chapter it took me the longest to finish), but I ended up reading the whole thing because I think it does a great work of balancing the awfulness of the characters.

I don't think Airi is worse than Hina, or viceversa, Hina has stated she could have walked away from Airi's abuse if she wanted to but she chose not to and I actually cheered on when Hina became the abuser in the situation because it was the culmination of all those earlier clues that she was as bad as Airi in their relationship.

Speaking of which, all I hope for an ending is that they end up together in their codependency and their enabling behavior (I'd also like a comeback from bully Airi, but I don't think we'll get it). Ah, and for glasses girl to end up exposed because hers is a suffering I could probably enjoy.

I don't think just wanting to die is enough to make people's blood super appealing to monsters, unless Shiori was lying about how suicidal people smell like decaying beached whale (For all we know THAT may be the most irresistible smell for monsters). Maybe it has something to do with being the sole survivor from a family, or maybe Hinako was marked by a monster and that makes her more delicious?

Never thought I'd see the day these characters would show up again. Still, I'm happy about it and I hope that demon queen and her sadist servant make an appearance.
