^ Agreed. Vol 2 and 3 are quite good. Vol 1 is marred by Mai's obnoxious behaviour, and Vol 4's climax is quite weird, where they have a long emotional and personal conversation on a big event's stage with only a flimsy cover up seeded by by Kaho and Satsuki amongst the crowd, like, I get that the pressure of the situation gives Renako the push she needs, but the fact that they weren't interrupted immediately by the technical staffs really breaks my immersion. But the Polyamory Volume is up next, I can't wait.

After tZdY dropped out, the only scanlation available is by Watanare Fan Discord which doesn't make it to this site(though I find their translation reads suspiciously nearly identical to the LN translation by Meatbun ). Quite unfortunate, the first LN and its corresponding manga parts were a bit irritating to read because of Mai, but the later 3 LN volumes are fun, and they also make passable explanations for Mai's behaviours.

^ I think it works, and suits the darker tone of original series better than the happy ending of the gacha game. By setting it to be another failed timeline of Homura, it also incorporates Magia Record anime into the original, preserving the continuity.

^ S3/Finale comes back to the root (being meguca is suffering), some people don't like it, but I think it's fairly good.

Eroha is a bit too young (and legally still underage), but with the amount of trauma she went through recently, I wouldn't blame her if she took the glass.

^ the distance is short enough that it's more effective to use the elbow than the sword with that swing, if not for the rapier (which still has a cutting edge) still free to move unhindered right in front of exposed chest and abdonmen, thus swinging with the sword going from under left arm would be much better than from over left shoulder. Not to mention the torso twist, while still within anatomically possible range, doing this during a serious fight is just inviting the opponent to induce spinal damage. Are the knees there supposed to be attempting a stance disrupting move or kneecap breaking move?

As said, this is not the right place for that kind of analysing, but my brain can't help...

This manga has so much potential to be a nice, relaxed manga while having some drama elements. The pacing in volume 1 and volume 2 is quite fine, but from the end of volume 2 to volume 3, everything is just going downhill. I can't even enjoy the sweet moment of Takkun and Yozora.

Arata Iri is doing a manga adaptation for a LN (called Goodbye Sengen), may be he can't find the time to come up with more drama for this series, so vol 3 has been spent entirely to wrap up everything and as such all possible fluffy filler and details are cut to fit in one tankoubon, or at least that's what it feels like to me. (At least this one seems somewhat planned and not the sort of extremely brutal axe that tMnR suffered with My Unrequited Love.) Hopefully eventually there will be a collection of extra fluff for this series, like it was with Comprehensive Tovarisch.

Damn, is it true this is ending with volume 3? We didn't even get proper focus on Takkun and Yozora yet in this iteration of the manga...

(With GTrans) I read the Arata Iri's tweets, and apparently the series is ending at ch19 (which was released together with ch18.2 on Dengeki Daioh on 26.02.22), so Vol 3 will be a tiny little bit longer than the previous two, but the story won't have a 4th volume. And there will be a 6 pages lewd extra scene with Mikoto and Nekozaki in Vol 3 tankoubon

Takkun and Yozora were given enough content to be have a coherent timeline, but since they mostly lack drama, those content was sprinkled all over the place. Sad. They will be the main feature on Vol3 cover, though.
