Azul forgot to make her depravity look dignified again...

She actually told her off. Didn't expect that

And Shiho always backs off when someone stands up to her, she's not that unreasonable.

The first page of the first chapter and the very first thought balloon pretty much spell out what the series would be about, and by all intents and purposes it has done a good job so far going that direction without swerving or promising anything different. People calling it garbage for delivering on its stated premise such as the first post on this page aren't expressing a honest opinion about quality, they hid their heads in the sand and are upset it won't change to conform to the story they wanted to read.

Going off of the comments for awhile now I feel like 1 of maybe...5 people that are still reading this manga and enjoying it haha

I enjoy it, I just found Shiho's turnaround funny.

Well done catching up. This is even more painful now that Shizuku has realized her feelings.

Maybe Hinoto can attend remotely and just travel back for exams? She might not have to go back for the whole year.

Can you link me to this? I can't find it in the episode.

The author drew the end card for episode 8 of Made in Abyss season 2 and even put Basier in it. I'm amused by the thought of more people discovering the series through it.

This isn't any justification for their actions, it's explaining the origin of their villainy. To me it also feels like it's setting up prez finding out that Michiru didn't try to kill Miho with his line "But it's bad to blame people for things you're not sure they did." in the flashback.

There's plenty of shoujo, and probably shounen too, where a hetero guy is the vice-president and crushes on the president. So, the requirement is ironclad, but does not seem to have gender orientation sub-requirements.

It's going on right now on this website with Liar Satsuki, female vice-president and male president. It's an inevitability.

You're being a little dishonest. There was a whole flashback chapter about Shiho and Kyou where it was already shown how much of an influence the latter was on the former. She wasn't some passing mention.

Actually I decided not to be so lazy: https://dynasty-scans.com/forum/topics/15452-whispering-you-a-love-song-discussion?page=51#forum_post_762124

If Kyou is Hajime’s sister, I wonder if it’s fair to assume Kyou is either dead or dying hence Shiho’s intense conviction of being the best before Kyou’s passing or before she passes, leading to her disliking and leaving her former band due to their distractions with love and etcetera which set them behind from what she wanted them to achieve before she thought it was too late.

Well done there.

Someone here totally called Kyou being dead several chapters ago. I'm too lazy to go back and find the post, but congrats.

Whoa, I didn't expect Ichika to take that step. Pretty effective way to signal that shit has hit the fan.

Nice! It has been way too violent for Satsuki. I want some calming moments for her, though most likely Komachi will somehow act up again lol.

I have to wonder how possible it is for her to calm down now if Michiru really has died. I'd love some more light-hearted chapters but I feel like we're in for some somber ones first.

Now we have to ask the questions of why she'd try to kill Miho, if she's really lost all her memories, and how harmless her sudden interest in Satsuki actually is.

I think it's fairly safe to assume Michiru was speaking with Seo on the phone after her suspension: https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/liar_satsuki_can_see_death_ch24#20 She even mentions the salad oil. When Satsuki goes to visit her, she's also talking to someone on the phone, presumably the same person: https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/liar_satsuki_can_see_death_ch35#3 and this person also seemingly goaded her into going yandere for Miho: https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/liar_satsuki_can_see_death_ch35#14 The only other option would be the student council since she was a trainee, but that seems extremely unlikely since Michiru had no offenses before the Miho incident and they would never push her to do it and become what they're fighting against in the first place.

The call during the house visit happens after Seo is admitted to the hospital, which would confirm she hasn't actually lost her memories. It's possible Michiru didn't even know what happened to Seo after she got suspended since we saw in the latest chapter that Miho understandably ghosted her after the kidnapping and she was the only other person she regularly spoke with.

Unless she is a giant metal bar, there is no set up for that lighting strike that is humanly possible. I didn't say anything yet on that but this one rely so much on luck that it's the stupidest plan yet, like even if she is alone in an open field, there is still so few probabilities for someone to be hit by a lighting strike AND die.

Satsuki makes the simple hypothesis on page 9 that prez saw a corpse at the point the lightning would strike and set Michiru up to be there instead. It's not that crazy in the context of this series. Thinking about it, it's even possible the original corpse was from someone in the swimming team since Miho noted that prez was the one who called their training session off due to the storm.

We don't know what reasons Seo might have to want to kill Miho. We only know something bad happened involving them the previous school year, which might hold the explanation. Seo being in on Michiru's kidnapping plan does signal she was at the very least fine with her doing that to Miho.

Also, we don't know if the student council tried to kill Miho multiple times. They did with the poisoned drink plan, but that was after the kidnapping incident and I'm proposing they might have not been responsible for said incident. And Miho's first death was an accident with her getting a concussion from a bad fall. The poisoned drink plan was already set up without them having to rely on Michiru, and involving others without planning to also get rid of them would be very dangerous anyway since they could become testimonies or hold evidence. That's why they set up the lightning strike for Michiru together with asking her to paint the windows with ink for Seo's murder attempt.
