don't you folks mean a-social? anti-social is a personality disorder isn't it?

You're correct, but your average normie understands (or at least has heard of) the term "anti-social" better than the terms "asocial" or "unsocial."
You're a social, what, butterfly?

Granted I would consider myself asocial, because there's no malice behind my actions, it's way easier to say anti-social in most situations, without having to explain more in depth. Not saying it's always the right thing to do, but I'm lazy.

They just don't look complete without animal ears.

Coming from someone who is anti-social, there's never a right way to handle that situation. People won't believe you when you tell them you don't have [insert whatever social media platform here] anyway. That said, #bear-chan4life.

I was starting (okay, not starting, it's been a constant thought throughout) to wonder if Arisa got some brain damage to go along with her amnesia, but she actually pulled off the whole telling Mari's family moment fairly well.

We need to make this manga gay. But not too gay! Give them a reason to kiss!

Like Goldilocks and the Three Bears gay? Juuuuust right.

Ha, I really thought we wouldn't see the girl outside of her sleeping bag ever, that it would be a constant running gag. I stand corrected!

When I saw how mind-numbingly cute those gloves were, I could feel it in my bones that there would be an equal and opposite reaction.

I remember coming across raws of another manga by this author (the one about two college girls who watch movies together, one of which looks exactly like an older Kurosawa, so maybe this was a spinoff) and wondering why there was no translation, so I'm always glad to see this one is still being worked on. Kusanagi-sensei is adorable, so thanks for all the work!

I feel like in the real world application of that exchange, the boss would definitely think less flattery and more sucking up. However, in this fake setting, that was basically a confession, right?!

Maybe the problem is that I was forced went to a co-ed Catholic gradeschool/junior high. I just can't fantasize about how Mary and Mary Magdalene actually had a torrid love affair and used Jesus as a cover story. #truth

Well, at least knowing that there is a plot buried deep in the flowery nonsense is something to keep me encouraged. I'll try to pick it back up and muddle through it.
As I realize it's taken me two weeks to get through half a LN. Nice.

I'm not sure where else to post this, but this is probably as good a place as any... So, I recently started trying to read the Strawberry Panic light novels. I haven't read the manga or watched the anime yet, but since I'm having a hard time really wanting to keep on reading it (I stopped midway and ended up rereading Girl Friends), I'm wondering if I should have delved into the other versions first. Any input would be appreciated.

Or I guess, does it get better? Currently it's too cheesy for the sake of cheese. Maybe it's a "you love it or hate it" type thing.

Maybe it's because I'm everything that is awkward personified, but yeah, there's no problem responding with "me too" to "I love you."
I mean, I guess it could be a problem depending on the atmosphere or if the person you're saying it to takes it as being too casual, but typically, it's fine. For them it was perfect.

Hell, it's possible the "me too" reply is a regional thing. I've never given it any thought before.

This kinda has a Charles Schulz vibe to it.

I could help but think of the persona 5 protagonist everytime I saw the werewolf.

Same, except for me it was like seeing the love child of P5 protag and Harry Potter. Who happened to come out as a lady werewolf. Instead of science babies maybe magic babies is more appropriate.

Any idea how many more there will be?

Issue 7 of Galette came out in August and had chapter 5 of this in it. I just look at the pretty pictures and nod.

No clue on whether this scanlation group/person plans on doing more, according to their site it's commission based.

Been meaning to post here for awhile, but Nishi Uko's works are such a pleasure to read. I've never seen someone able to pack so much care and consideration into so few words, images, and pages while completely getting their point across every time.
I really adore her works.

I do agree this second series isn't as good as the first was (it's way too soon for me to be saying that wholeheartedly), but these are still characters that I love to death. Plus this new development with the two past loves is super promising.
It makes me want to reread the first series over again, even if I just did that like a month ago. Does it become a problem when you're reading the same manga once a month?
...ah, whatever.

This was way less awkward and anxiety causing than I expected this initial reveal to be. I approve!

Yes, what a poor, murderous child indeed.

While not a realistic portrayal of this kind of disorder, it does sort of make you assume there's a supernatural element at play here.

There was a show called the Joe Schmo Show (on Spike TV, I believe) that was basically this. It was disguised as a reality tv show, 'cept everyone was a paid actor/actress (hell, Kristen Wiig was on it pre-SNL fame) except for the main guy. Basically they threw the craziest stuff at him to see what it would take for him to figure out it was fake. It was some fine cringe comedy. The guy was kind of a lovable idiot, though, which helped.

But I digress. This is amazingly unique and should be read by all.

When Chiaki was still in her mother's womb, I believe her mom held headphones to her belly with the word "boobs" being played on repeat. I mean, boobs are cool and all, but how else do you develop this severe of a one track mind?

I don't know if you can convincingly say that you're "not some easy girl" when you were dating someone else day(s) prior. Unless I'm misunderstanding the use of that phrase in this situation.

Regardless, I'm usually super easy to please, but I didn't really like anything about this sadly.
