Anyways, chapter was cute, but we all know everything's going to change once summer camp starts and i'm pretty sure that guy at the end of the previous chapter would be the cause of it. Doubt it would be romance related, but he doesn't look like good news to me

I feel the criticisms of the series as a whole, and of Yagi as a complete idiot are very unfair. First of all, in the original story, you see them appear to be about to kiss, but it's kept ambiguous as to whether they do and whether they are a couple. This sequel resolves that ambiguity and reveals they did not and are not; that's all there is to it. With that in mind, Yagi's behavior is understandable. She clearly likes Mado, but can't accept that Mado likes her back due to poor self esteem, so she decides to give another girl a chance. I've seen several of my friends in real life do this, it's not always a bad or stupid idea to date someone who's really into you when you already have a crush. Personally, while I'm eager to see Yagi and Mado end up together, I don't see every obstacle along the way as a writing flaw.

Totally agree with you. Yeah, Yagi might seem like an idiot at first, but if you see how little she thinks of herself, you'll understand why she needs things spelled out and why she never saw Madoka as her lover. Since shortie is way too straight forward with her feelings for her, she decides to give her a chance, even though we see how much she really likes Madoka during the "date."

Anyways, i like how the story is going atm, its cute and it has that right amount of drama that i like in yuri. It also helps a lot that the art is nice too.

probably cuz they are actually DOING things in said relationships, instead of blueballing like everything else ever. tho they are potrayed with sort of adult behavior even tho they are children, kinda jarring.

I get what you're saying, i also think its useless since relationships aren't depicted like that in most yuri works. I always thought it was used as a meme in yuri though, never knew some people do use it to describe couples.

Yuri on Ice was fantastic, and it leaves absolutely no doubt at all that they are a romantic couple. It's not yaoi, it's a sports series where the romance plot just happens to be gay.

I loved the animation and the story of that one, it was truly a really good series. Seeing how popular it got, i hope we get to see more gay original animes like it in the near future.

Was this a long untranslated end to the tank or is this something the mangaka drew recently to round it off or something? Best would be if it was the start of a new work about their after graduation relationships :) but I can't see that being likely.

Yeah, i hope we get a chapter where we get to see how they got together. She first appears in this chapter where they show how she knows Kiyo has feelings for Nanao and how her feelings for Kiyo are one-sided.

You could always write your own realistic fanfiction. Something like the teacher breaks it off with Nanao after her parents discovered the relationship and then they forced her to marry the son of one of her mom's friends, the shortie and the girl with the short hair break up because they "grew out" of that "phase." Makiko and Kiyo continue dating up until college, but then Makiko goes to South America as an exchange student, while there, some dudebro gets her pregnant after she got drunk and has a one-night stand with the guy. Kiyo, unable to cope with the heartbreak, becomes a promiscuous girl who ends up with the same fate as Makiko.

You know... speaking of Kotooka... I was rereading some things and I'm starting to have this feeling that she is not just purposely ignoring Washio's feelings because she doesn't want to get her hopes up, but that maybe it has something to do with why she went to this school, also. Her face after they ask her the question tips me off, but I'm also really getting the feeling that she has had a bad experience with someone like Washio.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very much a Kotooka/Tsukasa shipper, but I wouldn't be surprised if in fact Kotooka had a crush on a girl like Washio before and it turned out poorly, which is why she keeps her distance. I dunno, I just feel like her feelings for Tsukasa, her distance from Washio, and the reason she went to this school are all threaded together.

Interesting idea, wouldn't hate it if that was the case. I kinda thought that Kotooka was just jealous of Washio. Not only because the girl she likes is into her (Knowing Kotooka thats probably one of the reasons), but also because she's able to not deny her own feelings like Kotooka does despite her numerous rejections. You know like, "I dislike this girl because she's so determined about her feelings, unlike me."
