The 1982 Blade Runner is a sci-fi masterpiece; it's self sufficient and it doesn't need a sequel nor a prequel nor a spin-off. It would be destroying Phillip K. Dick and Scott's universe, I just can't imagine it. But we'll see, it might turn out to be an okay-ish movie.

The movie is kinda old itself. If it had these tracks : Koyaanisqatsi and Prophecies, the latter being also used in Scrubs, and in the legendary Dr Manhattan scene in Watchmen, then it was Koyaanisqatsi.

I didn't get the reference, but all I can think about when I hear fireworks is the fuse flying off, explosing, and the fragments in fire slowly falling down, in the awesome movie Koyanisqaatsi. Kind of breaks down the usual happiness feelings fireworks give off.

On the paper it's definitely different, but we're in the yuri world so they're right to ask; when, in the yuri you're reading, MC's love interest turns out to be bi and leaves mc for a man it's no different than het ! Brrr, just imagining it makes me shiver. This fucking shitty yuribait is a good example, and not even tagged bisexual.
Sometimes, there are even both het and bisexual tags for one character in a manga, having in mind Netsuzou Crap and the brainless light-haired character. Well, same goes for the dark-haired one, so it definitely can be confusing.

But as a manga, this goes nowhere interesting and brings nothing of value to yuri.

And there you go with amalgam; I'm a man and this is my least favorite Kurata Uso work. And I know plenty of male yuri reader who think the same. I even got the feelings women liked it- if not more, at least as much as male readers did.

I remember submitting the depressing as fuck tag for this one, wasn't accepted though.
As for the twist, I don't find it meaningless; it's one of those stories that remind you life is short and you can lose it at any moment, and therefore, shouldn't do things you'll regret later.
