And Kaori herself is a rather odd character--at first she seems like just a genki-for-yuri girl, then there's almost a bit of a benign stalker-from-the-past feel, and then later she seems to be a doomed angel who has come to redeem Shizuku of her guilt (for an offense that doesn't seem to be quite bad enough that anyone needs to be doomed about it).

Maybe further development will resolve these issues, but at this point something does seem rather out of balance here.

maybe is just coincidence but kaori seems to be heavily inspired on her namesake from shigatsu wa kimi no uso , both knew and admire the mc at a young age , share a similar personality and after meeting present MC decided to help them to overcome their trauma

this turn into a silent voice but bad, jesus i thought ruri was going to be like "fuck off i don´t want anything to do with you " i wasn´t expecting that kind of reaction, like sure shizuku was being hella rude and insensitive but it´s not like she was beating her or stealing her money heck she wasn´t even mocking her for being clumsy. The author is triying way to hard to guilt trip shizuku without fully commiting the same way a silent voice did

as far as i remember they don´t really talk to each other like at all and im not sure if said interaction plays that way, so saying that the ship has been hinted is kind of reaching , maybe gamo and yoshi could be a thing but i don´t see this one sailing at all but an interesting ship nonetheless

it´s rare to see yuri with so much chemistry between the main characters and a somewhat deep relationship , so it always feels like a waste when mangas this fun get an open ending , but well a great read nonetheless i really enjoy it

in terms of gameplay it´s your run of the mill rythm/gacha game like school idol festival , the stories are intersting tho every band has a unique story, there´s also individual stories and sometimes chapters dedicated to certain ships . it´s fun if you´re into bands and music

well to be fair that´s consistent with her charaterization so far . On the other hand yuzu seems to expect less and less of mei every chapter like she used to look pretty dejected whenever mei gave her the cold shoulder, it feels like she realize that she´s not getting any emotional fullfillment from mei so she doesn´t bother triying anymore
