I don't think I've actually read this before, but it's a lil interesting. I didn't get what Kaoru meant when she said they looked alike- I didn't see it. I was kinda hoping that she would've gotten together with Saitou (That sunk when I read the latest chapter). But nah the student I can't remember her name, I don't feel that her and Mary should be together at all. She should atleast realize that Chiaki is in love with her first. And she calls her Sensei dense >.>.

Hotaru really likes Fujiwara, but their relationship is destructive, as he keeps cheating on her and treating her badly.
That's why Hotaru is trying seduce Yuma in order to get back at Fujiwara and find some recomfort, but in reality doesn't love her in a romantic way (she probably isn't gay).
Meanwhile, Yuma discovers she actually likes girls and falls in love with Hotaru. She doesn't get nearly as much pleasure kissing Takeda as kissing with Hotaru.

That's my take on the story so far, this series is getting better and better, can't wait for the next chapter. :D

Yuma mentions several times that Hotaru has had many boyfriends in the past, which makes me thinks she is just fooling around with Yuma and would rather be in a relationship with a boy.
Also the author made clear that Hotaru likes Fujiwara, otherwise, why would she want to LIVE in his appartment, to the point where even has to throw her away to make her to leave? That being said, I don't think Hotaru enjoys their relationship, because Fujiwara is being abusive, but that's a completely different matter.

He's not a troll, but he's clearly misunderstand/ misreading this manga. I don't understand how Yuma can discover she's actually gay when Hotaru started this with her from the beginning only as soon as she knew Yuma got a bf and it seemed like Yuma was into him until she got confused. Also of course Hotaru also has more experience in kissing than Takeda. (The guy's still a virgin) so yeah she's gonna feel more pleasure kissing her than him. From what I've read, Hotaru seems like she's trying to get out of the relationship with asshole. You know how those abusive guys are when they're like "you're never leaving me" even though the have plenty of girls on the side. And she was only at asshole's house because she needed time to face Yuma after she slapped her. They do live right next to each other.
Oh yeah and expect a het ending, it is one of the tags.

I don't think she's lying about the cheating part, but also think she's not exactly telling the truth either. You know how most need an excuse for why they do things in order to cover up what they're really doing.

She didn´t smash the window, it was broken from the outside, the glass felt inside and probably got her. It could be a ball or an anything going through the glass with some force to break it.

Probably because for some people cheating is some kind of ultimate evil, don't matter any reason for doing it or context, you're a monster that don't deserve forgiveness and must be hated and judged all your life for doing it.

Instead of ya know, respecting someone and not aggressively move onto them like that in the first place? Sounds about right!

I feel for him, poor sap's about to get his girlfriend stolen. I'm honestly surprised about the lack of empathy for the guy, and support of Hotaru's actions, if their positions were reversed it's likely that exactly the opposite reaction would be produced. Just because it's yuri doesn't mean it should be supported regardless of context and character actions. Hotaru's the one in the wrong not him, but she's going to win anyway, just because, and through of fault of his own dude's gonna end up alone, so yeah I feel for him.

Your opinion baffles me. The guy is far less interesting being on the periphery of the story. Why would people focus on that? In defence of a relationship which seems superficial at best?

I empathize with him as a human being. It doesn't matter that I don't really know anything about him, what matters is that I see him in an unfortunate situation and I feel bad for him, because I know that I would feel bad in the same situation ( heck maybe me being so bland makes it easier to self insert.)
I will concede that Hotaru is, at this moment in time, a more interesting character, as we have a greater understanding of her background and have seen more of her behavior, but doesn't mean that I am under any obligation to like her, because frankly so far she has been pretty awful, disregarding the feelings of both Yuma and her boyfriend. So just because we know less about him doesn't mean we should treat the guy as if he isn't real. In any story I'll root for the person who I can most empathize with, who I have a reason to support, and in this case my reason for supporting him is that, knowing little about him he is nicer, and a better friend to Yuma, than Hotaru, who thus far has acted rather callously. It isn't about who might make the more interesting story it's about who I prefer as a character and that is most definitely the guy.

No thanks. I go for entertainment in general where there are characters I like. Here the MC is a nothing-character very bland, and the blackhaired is quite a detestable bitch. Other characters are basically background characters. Theres nothing of interest for me here.

@Anubis3200 I agree with you. I just didn't want to start an argument, but oh well. It was more powerful bending in ATLA because there was the Lightning the Firebenders used more often, where in LOK you only see Makko use it in the last episode, to break out of prison, and when he had his first job at the beginning of the first season. Aang when he entered the Avatar state he used all elements and it looked awesome. Korra's was laxed. Two things I didn't understand; Aang and Katara's kids weren't badass. And Sokka didn't have any kids I believe.

And I can only watch it from Season 3 too. Never even attempted to watch from season 1 again cause I'd probably get bored.
