In previous chapters it was mentioned that alcohol is poison to them unless it was offered by humans, and accidental spill probably doesn't count

Specifically, it's that she can't touch alcohol unless it is offered to her by a human, as doing so will give her something she previously described as "akin to an electrical shock". I'm sure there's a few of you, myself included, who were a bit shocked (hehe) to learn that this was less "comedy electrocution from a Pikachu" and more "literal electrical burns".

Alas, not even playing through Great Ace Attorney Chronicles could teach me how to do cross-eyed 3D for this...

So according to sometime, we've got three chapters left in this series, including the one dropping next week. Apparently the author couldn't quite get a sixth volume due to "sales and other factors beyond their control", but they've managed to include almost everything they wanted to and it's still far more than their original goal of three volumes.

I guess if you look at it from the way the series is titled, everyone's arcs have "pretty much" been resolved in their own ways. (ie. Ataru's got her feelings off her chest, Kita's figured out who they want to be, and Kyouko and Mirei's relationship just kinda be like that.)

But yeah, I'd be lying if I didn't feel the sting of seeing 次回, 最終回 while translating ch103.

If that were the case, why does she say "things could turn violent if YOU let your guard down", and more significantly why does she look reflexively enraged when Kita shows up? If her primary motivator was concern FOR Kita, she wouldn't have that rage face...

"Let your guard down" as in giving her old clothes to Kita without considering the consequences. Elly seems to regard it as no big deal (a very pleasant, refreshing attitude, to be sure), while Wanko understands that there are dangers for Kita, especially if Elly is incautious and handles things too openly.

That, and (until next chapter at the earliest) Kita hasn't yet told Sakuma what decision they've reached regarding their gender identity and how they want to approach it, so just handing them a skirt might be somewhat inappropriate regardless.

a) Because Japanese sometimes omits pronouns making it tricky to determine who's talking about who when translating, assuming it's not intended to be vague.
b) Because Wanko is overprotective of Elly and considers even crows to be her enemy.

Wow, people here had a completely different read on Wanko's violence comment than I did. Her "think about what would happen if he wore that" line made me think more in terms of violence directed toward Kita from his friends or family, a very serious and real consideration.

That is a very solid take.

I feel like I lost the thread of chapter 101 with regards to sakuma's family situation. Could somebody clarify?

I would also like to know if someone has any info on what happened to the translation for this manga. Was it dropped or are the translators waiting for the free chapters to expire? (or something similar?) The raws are already up to sixth chapter so I'm just curious.

Translations are up to date, but I have no idea what's going on with the typesetting. (Doesn't help that all the other TSers aside from Urbs are anonymous).
