In the vein of that discussion, it is a bit reckless to be so physical with something that might have very different concepts regarding what counts as 'playful' or 'affectionate'. I mean, for all we know, the cute alien girl might try to help the scientist shed her skin with the best intentions. Without communication, there's really no way of knowing exactly how 'human' she is, or how she feels about her situation.

I feel like this has gotten considerably lighter recently, as Bocchi doesn't seem to struggle with her anxiety quite as much as she used to. I'm conflicted; I want her to be happy, but the early chapters had such feels. I'm hoping we get another chapter with Kai soon to raise some stakes, and prevent the character development from stalling out.

Eh, lolis in manga and anime are usually a little sexualized, as the magical girl genre demonstrates. I've never been particularly bothered by it, since there's a disconnect between reality and illustration, at least to me. (Unless the age gap gets really intense, like 'Oshikku Sensei'. That's a little too messed up for me to dismiss.) Anyway, regardless of how sexy depictions of Fate Testarossa may or may not be, I'm comfortable in the knowledge that IRL kids don't appeal to me in the slightest.

That being said, in-universe-Mimika is totally a pedophile, and it's hilarious.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Mima is more relevant these days, there's been a lot of speculation that she might make an appearance soon. Recently, Zun seems to be re-introducing characters like Reisen and Youmu, so it's not out of the question to have a somewhat Marisa-centered plot eventually.
