I just read the spotlight on ANN and stumbled upon a yuri story called "FLAVOR: PLASTIC BLUE" from Aji-ichi. So I was wondering: Is that the same author as of "Dear My Teacher"?

I actually mentioned this in the sadly derailed "Yuri manga you should read that aren't here" thread previously, and yes, it's the same author.

Happy to finally read it! And yeah, all three series are official, and can be considered canon (given the fact they're all written by the same people).

I know this artist has had quite a few things translated, but I can't seem to find them in scanlated format. Any chance someone else has them? If so, mind putting in an upload request?

^Until the image section has stronger functionality, we're trying to keep from uploading multi-part comics there, unless they're only two parts. Reason being that we don't want to have continuity breakups - like someone jumping into the second page of a three-part comic. To my knowledge, there are only two surviving exceptions to this rule, one of which is completely unintentional.

I fixed it while you were reading, apparently.

I doubt most of the people here have a problem with Phyis' work, it's Shioya Teruko we're criticizing. The translation seemed well done, typesetting, cleaning, all that good happy stuff seemed every bit as good as the rest of their work. So there's really nothing I can see that Phyis should be taking that personally, unless they're offended that people don't like the same things they do.

Comments like this have been common throughout its scanlation - whether it be here, /u/, or on YP's site.

It's fine to not like something, when people start attacking members of a group - or the group itself - for giving them free things that don't fit their taste, the line has been crossed.

Previously scanlated by Yurikai, who clearly thought it qualified as yuri. Re-done by Hidamari Soumi, as they weren't aware of the previous version.

I don't know whether to consider this Het, Yuri, or if it really matters, given the content.

I just realized this was drawn by the actual author of the manga.

Artist, not author. Kouga Yun does the scriptwork, Sunao does the drawing. If It were the artist's series, there would be at least 10x more yuri vibes. As-is, she just ships all the characters in the cover art, on Twitter, etc.

Oh, thanks for the bump. After looking through the comments I intended to add the tags, but couldn't at the time. Added all three of the suggested tags, which also seemed proper to me.

It is! You can check out the series page on their website to also see a pretty neat schedule of all the chapters released thus far, and the next upcoming chapter (though they are a few days behind now...).
