I've suggested that the final chapter should have the marriage tag a couple of times, but they were both rejected. I can't understand why though. They get married for pete's sake. You see them standing outside of a church wearing wedding dresses talking about how they just got married. What else do you need to qualify for that tag?

I'm rejecting the Marriage tag because spoilers. It's better used for oneshots/doujinshi, not concluding chapters of a series.

(So said Troid a few posts above yours)

so I went to a completely different internet network, logged onto a completely different computer, used Internet Explorer 11.0.11 and it still blew up the images to huge sizes. so I think there is an incompatibility between you guys and IE 11. i hope the dynasty people can figure something out. in the mean time i will be using firefox (even though i hate it)

*edit: I am not mad, impatient, or anything I just want to maximize my yuri experience XD

Yeah, I was aiming to test that when I originally asked, but you're just too fast~
Seems like a pretty simple bug, though we have a similar - much less persistent - hitch with Firefox that also needs fixing. I've added it to the bug list, at the very least.
Sorry and thank you!

What do you think of somehow tagging guest artists that do a page or two in a doujin?
Tagging them as Artist for the work would be wrong, but it would be nice to know where they have some art.

It would probably be more trouble than it's worth, but some separate system for guest art and the like would be kind of nice.

Makes you wonder if maybe the artist hasn't really read any yuri released since the 70's.

Ah well. I really like Chako, that's about all there is to it. If you finish chapter 8 in a rage-induced state, at least give the Omake a chance.

Will happily take tag suggestions to capture the utter disappointment that chapter 8 leaves us with. Somehow making a tag Sad end didn't seem very accurate.

Thanks. Unfortunately omnscient0 is the one who will be of real use here, and he hasn't been around a whole lot lately.

That said, last question, what browser are you using? Does changing browsers change the problem at all (if you've tried)?

You can take screenshot and upload it to photobucket, imgur or whatever image hosting site you prefer...or take a screenshot with puush. Then post the link/pic here.

^Well, it's a FAQ of sorts. The idea of them being together is that before anyone asks for blank, they read the FAQ and see if it's been covered already. I do think there's some merit in them being separated, and maybe that's something that will come into play for the next thread. This one's getting pretty unwieldy as-is....

and I am the only one that has been having new releases load up in ridiculously large formats? like "Stretch" will load up in regular dimensions, about 800 pixels wide, but then I go to chapter 13 of "Yurika's Campus Life" or the new release of chapter 7 of "Honey Quartet" and they load up in insane sizes, 1200+ pixels across. its really cumbersome to read like this. ("Sweet Melancholy" is another one I am having problems with)

is this a problem with my computer? I would think if it was a problem with my computer it would be the same for all manga, meaning that stretch would also be blown up to 1200 pixels across, but its not.....

Any chance for a screenshot of this?

Don't know if its related to the slowdown we're experiencing, but I noticed when pinging dynasty-scans.com that one (the second) of the pings fails (request time out). If I ping the IP address 2 out of the 4 fail. A tracert on dynasty-scans.com suggests areas with problems in the route may be: 80.231.152.66 , if-1-2.tcore1.nyy-new-york.as6453.net , and 107.12.17.250 . Anyone else able to confirm these results?

Sorry for the late response. Are things any better now? I've had no issues - I can say with certainty the site has been running faster for me in the last few weeks - and both pinging the site and its IP gave positive results nine times out of ten.

my original question bordered on rediculous, so lemme be specific. it'd be nice if "this" FAQ were more boilerplate and not mixed up with user request. for example, it might be nice if it were on the main menu or as a sub menu item in the user dropdown.

The FAQ, as in the first post?

I was thinking a prequel and a sequel tag would be good to have. These tags can be included for one-shots that has two parts.

Thinking about it.

It would appear that "Nowhere to Go" and its sequel, "In the Afternoon" were both licensed by DMG. They are listed as licensed on Lililicious' site, and baka-manga credits DMG as the English publisher.

I'm not sure why "Nowhere to Go" wasn't removed like its sequel, but I'm going to guess that was the intention. As such, it's now been removed. Sorry, and thanks.

making some noise for Sado x Yuuko!!!

Sorry, can't find anything of these two. Feel free to submit an upload request if you have something specific; otherwise I'll keep my eye out.

You sure it's not Umi instead of Nozomi? Nozomi has blue/cerleun/aqua eyes

Yeah of course it is. Always getting the two confused...

Wow, page 16. That's a rare delicacy.

To see it uploaded here, I wonder if that implies that the translation is 100% accurate? Because it's not...So I would say with a level of confidence that this translation is viable. Perhaps even very viable.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. While we do have some standards to live up to, the translation certainly fell within those, and there were no obvious inaccuracies. Certainly J > E is always preferred, but there are plenty of groups even within the "pro" scanlation scene that openly advocate C > E translations. Hard for us to argue with that when there is no ready alternative.

All-in-all, there are some small spelling/grammar mistakes, but they hardly detract from an otherwise strong doujin (and translation). Thank you very much for your hard work!

I think the title should be changed to "Yuki Toke No Yue"

It feels like Yohane is relatively notorious for this, changed.

If you're requesting by linking directly to art (other image boards, pixiv, etc.), it's better to make a single master list and upload it somewhere (the request window, pastebin, whatever) than put in dozens of individual requests.

If you're uploading images to mediafire or something, it's best if they're sorted somehow; in a master folder you could sort them by artist/pairing/copyright (or something else useful).

You're more than welcome to request some, but they're typically fulfilled much slower than comic requests because sourcing can get tedious pretty quickly.

Hahaha wow. I guess this really is a story about positive female friendship after all.

Ran in a santa suit was really cute. Is the first chapter with both stretchings and important story development (not foreshadowing)?

...now that's a question worth asking!

Ah, we've got some artists in this thread! That's pretty sweet. Maybe some day I'll have enough confidence to post something...

I believe inari kokon koi iroha has something going on in the background http://i.imgur.com/NHjGMGK.jpg But I must continue with the manga to see if "something" flourish...

Real spoiler; She gets rejected.

I was so dissapointed with RWBY and how they're introducing new male characters... And Weiss is falling for one of them! #RUINED they betrayed those five thousand fanart in DA.

Don't worry. The male characters are basically carbon copies of each other - they're clearly just there to eventually be paired off for some high-quality yaoi. I BELIEVE!

Wow, so my tag suggestion went through?

Yep.

...Or is it only if enough people suggest a tag that it gets added?

The amount of requests doesn't matter. If we think a suggestion fits our criteria, we'll accept it. Yours fit, so it was accepted.

Rireba's awesome. A bit miffed at how many stories they have out there that haven't been translated, but I think this is just a reminder that the one's that do are well worth it.

"They have to be boys?"
I'm so proud of you Chen.

"When you've been living for as long as we have, it doesn't really make a difference."

Thought that was an awesome response too.

Not sure how to feel about Crunchyroll licensing. Their translation work is often sub-par.

While I would disagree (at least in terms of anime), what exactly could they be screwing up? Sound effects? T/N's? Or maybe you're saying you'd rather not support them because of aforementioned poor translation work...

Personally, I'm rather pleased they picked it up when they did (or maybe that I found out about when I did). I can read all the old chapters like the cheap [insert derogatory term here] that I am, and then also read new chapters for free while giving the artist/publisher/whatever money. Given the odds that they don't **** anything up, it's a win-win, I think.

Top 3 would've been more manageable, but I understand why you said 1.

I'd go with Sakuraba Yuuki (Personal Color). S/he does excellent SoL, excellent action, excellent romance, and excellent nsfw. If all series were written by her/him, I think I'd be guaranteed high quality yuri in a variety of genres.

Otherwise, I would go with the criminally inactive Natsuneko, for much the same reason.

umm destiny? I wouldn't quite put it that way. I'm of the mind, 'whatever floats your boat,' but as I've learned, there are quite a few male posters (actually more than I ever imagined) and the thought did cross my mind.

From the moment people started appearing averse to toys, I was waiting for the inevitable comment about "purity-obsessed males" or guys being uncomfortable about phallic objects (or something similar). Somehow, the Question of Destiny appeared in a far more tepid and reasonable form.
Good job.

There's more diversity in hets however, most of the ones i read are made by males and it doesn't come close to the hot guy plain girl plot device (although it opens a whole new can of worms with the fanservice stuff)

Oh, harems ugh shudder
I'm with you though

I tried giving yaoi a shot but it just didn't do it for me. Anyone who can read all the three (yaoi, het, yuri) genres and like them equally?

Well, I don't really know if it's possible when you phrase it that way. Everyone is going to have favorites in terms of genre and whatnot. I can get into all three, but yuri is still my favorite by a good margin.
If you're going to earnestly attempt yaoi, Josei and doujinshi are much easier reads than that shoujo nonsense. Yaoi written by artists who also do yuri are also fairly good as well.

My change of avatars is directly related to how bored i am

x2, usually.

Or if I see something really cute/funny/me/etc., I'll change it for that. Sometimes I cycle through old ones because I can't make up my mind, like right now.
