Great story! Specially for the hopeful note it ended. :D

The core problem I see here is taking opinions like something personal. People won't always agree with you, but if you really like something whatever, is their loss. Of course that reducing things at a simple 'I like it/I don't like it' doens't allow for that much discussion but you can't force them to change their mind, you can only offer points of why you like something at best.

That's why I believe is best to ignore blatantly incendiary comments and just keep enjoying things.

Great story but the end was really bad, boring, generic and kind of lazy. Oh well.

You really think so? Im not sure its gonna go there - or if it does it wont show it- it seems more about the comedy.. And unlike some, while i think they made out a lot in the bed in this chapter- i don't think they had sex really.

Remember this was picked back up (ch 26) just after the anime ended- assuming the missing manga chapters are more or less the same- it was recently we had the whole thing with Haruka saying she didn't understand Mitsuki's meaning of love- and she and yuu would figure out what their type of love was in future, or something like that.

So as far as we have seen, they haven't even defined their relationship as romantic / sexual - or that they are a couple etc- so i cant see it jumping to NSFW till after that.

Re-read please, i said it does not impact on whether the drama is forced or to put it simply: if the writing is bad it is still bad regardless of character ages

The writing on both series is pretty good though.

Not really, were we follow Keiko's story when she was a teenager then it would be an apt comparison. You could compare Citrus with Prism since we are following the stories of two teenager lesbians but Prism focus on how they relationship impacts with their world while Citrus focus on the relationship itself.

The age of the characters does have an impact since on both series they're written accordingly to their ages, Citrus characters tend to overblown things just like a teenager does and lacking any kind of stable adult figure on their lives they sort things as they go (and can). On Stretch while is obvious that Keiko never fully matured, she does have that stable presence in Ran and her friends, whom being more mature and experienced can sort things out without drama.

A thing that comes clear for this is that Keiko has a LOT of issues and her having sex in the spur of the moment was she kind of copying her mother behavior (since implies she was one to sleep around after her marriage ended) with Keiko not fully understanding what is she doing, in that sense, is a pretty faithful rendering on how things are with teenagers nowadays.

And I agree, this chapter makes more than likely a yuri ending.

^ Just for the record, on Citrus the characters are teenagers while here we have adults. Isn't comparable at all. If anything The Feelings we all must endure is one series we could compare this.
