Mimi escapes without Cocona's father knowing she's pregnant and Papikana joins her. People seem to be drawing things from this period of time. I don't remember any hint of them being inside Pure Illusion while they were on the run, though, which is pretty much the only way it could've happened.

I don't think we ever get enough information about the legal status of Friends to be 100% sure. Besides, Kaban was originally a Friend as well until the Cerulean ate her; I'm pretty sure that would obviate most of the issues.

Eh, you gotta cross the line somehow. I do approve of bringing the idea up; it's the execution that'll make or break it(eg, maybe mom keeps telling herself this is the reason she's leaning towards her daughter as a way to keep from falling).

It's a pretty standard romance trope for the girl to end up going out with the "wrong" guy, who inevitably turns out to be an ass who mistreats her(and given dad strongarmed his way into a relationship, we can assume she's vulnerable to this type). If it comes out in the next few chapters, we can just assume it's another obstacle for daughter to overcome.

That's what I thought. It's too bad it wasn't intentional: it would've been fun seeing Tapiz realize that she's just an out-there human just in time to be proven wrong.

Love Live has multiple continuities that don't agree with each other on everything. The anime never shows her parents as anything less than 100% supportive, but even in the School Idol Festival continuity, there's an arc where they're pressing her to drop piano if she doesn't do well at the recital. Not to say Papa Slap isn't being exaggerated, but I'd expect one of the continuities came close enough that this isn't an entire asspull.

"I'd" == "I would" == in context it's past tense and therefore leaves possibilities for the future. ;)

"Would" doesn't really have tense, especially when compacted to "I'd"; without being able to cross reference the original, I got the impression it was meant absolutely. Not to say it won't change: she did have to tell herself it was nothing more than a thank-you rather hard there.

If aliens came from space, somehow I doubt they'd prove to be any better. The idea that conquering and enslaving foreign nations is a bad thing is a rather western(and recent) concept; we shouldn't assume they wouldn't be offended by their empire building being called immoral.

Also, I kinda want to see more. Why is Honoka cheating on Nico? Does she has feelings for Tsubasa (She does in my heart. Honoka belongs with Tsubasa). I want this to be developed

Yamori Misaki's Tsubasa is a bit on the controlling side, so I'd bet she forced her into it one way or another. Which makes me want more even more.

Somehow this has just under 4 1/2 stars at sad panda.

Blame benja. As soon as I say that post and noticed a distinct lack, I had a Misdreavus needs to Smeargle some. Given the chance, I'd Doduo it all over again.

If their love childs' bloodline is accurate to theirs, the sister's eyes could've been either purple or red, just like their mothers.

Ignoring the fact that genetics don't usually apply to anime, blue eyes are a very recessive trait. Nico and Maki could easily have the gene without expressing it.

It does seem a little Oddish it's taken this long for Dynasty to get its Tentacools on one.

If you watch the original OVA, it's fairly obvious Trigger is a very western-influenced studio. I'd have a hard time believing them if they explicitly stated that Hanna and Barbara weren't name after the company/animators.

Cute but come on. I'd imagine like half of the wishes to have a sexual nature, which would make turning an extremely frequent occurrence.
The death god population should be getting out of control.

She specifically wished for Sou, though. I'd imagine most sexytime wishes end up being either generic(ie, "I don't wanna die a virgin!") or involve predetermined people(eg, "I wanna f*ck Stacy's mom!"). Also, condoms.

The one thing I don't understand is why Kanata claimed she wasn't real. Aside from that, excellently done - I didn't see the twist coming, but it's otherwise completely consistent with everything before.

That's just their shadows.

Maybe it's just because I'm not into them, and never really played them, but I find all the explanations of fighting game mechanics really boring.

It'd probably be more of a grind if you knew it well. I've basic experience(mostly Mortal Kombat and Smash Brothers) and these explanations aren't much more interesting(though informative).
