I want to know how she made that thing. With her feet?

cmon middle schoolers? at least last year of high school or freshmen in college would be better. a bunch of 13 year olds just lack common sense

7/10

I think it's appropriate since that's the age where they are just starting to awaken to sexuality and she seems pretty unfamiliar with/uneasy about it. If they were older that kind of setup would be less plausible (to me at least). And who says they need to have common sense?

I was honestly expecting to see worse. I'm glad they didn't actually show the scene. If I'd seen it I'd probably be taking severe emotional damage and/or flipping tables (not likely, I'm not that strong); thankfully, not seeing it happen gives me a protective mental barrier against such things. That "Honk honk" on the credits helped lighten the mood going into it too.

( ಠ_ಠ)

I have this reaction to the various things I decide to look at more than I'd like to admit.

I'm only about halfway through the anime currently, and I think I like the manga better. It's got a much more normal slice of school life feel than the anime, where I'm sensing all sorts of dramatic tension. The plot and personalities even seem to be a bit off to me, not to mention the weird stuff being referred to as "mind-screw" here. Seriously, she doesn't see or imagine weird scenes like battlefields in the manga except for once that I can remember. Not saying the anime's bad though. Just quite a bit of a different feel to it, enough that I might even say it's a different genre.

Ninpou: Bleed when shot. I can totally imagine her having one like that.

After reading so many guesses as to just who her girlfriend is, I feel like it would be totally plausible for it to be someone who has never been introduced just for the reaction to "EVERYONE WAS WRONG LOL"

I think... I really meant that...

Yes! This manga has redeemed itself in my eyes. I was pissed off with the whole "they don't really love each other because they don't understand love" thing.

I can swear I read this somewhere before, but I can't remember where for the life of me.

I really like that actress mom, she's not like the kind of celebrity parent you often see portrayed in dramas like this. (I guess the douchebag psycho stepdad from the previous chapter overflowed the horrible parent quota for the series.)
And I'm really glad we get to see all of them together in the theater, it really helps me sort out the relationships and connections between them all.

Oh my god, Hayashiya Shizuru has been publishing since before I was born... no wonder she's so amazing, backed up with all that experience.

Subtle references everywhere in the backgrounds... I saw the Laputa robot as well as soldiers from Nausicaa waiting in line for the dangos, the patio umbrellas on page 6 have a Remi motif with a hat and wing etc. And just what are Cirno, Rumia, and Daiyousei doing running around the slums of Makai? (page 14)
So much detail, I love these works.

57 the demons' faces look like they're thinking "What the heck are these girls just flirting and making out in front of us?"

Am I the only one who finds it really wierd that the first thing she did when she got home wasn't call her brother so she could grill/lambast him? I mean, why would you continue to take his place in that sort of situation without making him explain what's going on?

I thought that too. My guess was that he left with no way to contact him.

I think what bugs me most about the art is how stiff it is. It gets more okay in the extreme shots where people are overreacting, but even then the expressions don't change much. Although the newest chapter it's not quite as noticeable.

The first time I can tell that the eyebrows have moved at all is on page 48... They really don't change expression much.

Oh. Well, not like it makes much of a difference.

So the Hydrogen Bomb War is a series?
Also, out of curiosity, what's with the random gaps in the chapters?

You know, I read so much Natsuki x Shizuru that I often forget that they weren't the main characters of the original series.

"Yuru Yuri Beginnings is part of a mini-booklet that came with Yuru Yuri Volume 11. It is a re-drawing of the first 4 chapters of Yuru Yuri in Namori’s current style."

This is great! Time to compare everything.
...whoaah, it's like a retcon festival or something... (absolutely not complaining)

Also, does this make it the third version of chapter 2 now? Since first it had an older brother way back when there were only 2 chapters.

Comments like this have been common throughout its scanlation - whether it be here, /u/, or on YP's site.

It's fine to not like something, when people start attacking members of a group - or the group itself - for giving them free things that don't fit their taste, the line has been crossed.

That really is a tasteless comment. I'd be tempted to find something like what was described and dedicate a scanlation just for that user (to spite them).
