I don't recall Mimi having healing magic? She can heal herself because she was put under an immortality spell, she doesn't even cast magic to do it. I don't remember her being well-versed in healing magic to use on others, certainly not to the extent of fixing Seiran's mortal wounds.

^Himari accepted the manager role because she felt responsible for things going south with her attempt to make the bands reconcile and she still wanted to accomplish that goal which meant trying to understand Shiho better. Yori didn't want her to do that due to jealousy but she was conflicted because she knew she should allow her to do what she thinks is best.

If she had allowed herself to fall in love with Aki, she would've lost her chance to leave her band and look for a better one.

Yeah, kinda like a detour; probably unplanned originally? "We want more volumes of this!", that sorta thing. And then we don't get a good end for the actual "plot" because it gets axed somewhere along the way ... ^^

Forgive me, but is worrying about manga being axed your hobby or something? You did the same with Vampeerz eight chapters ago and that's still going strong.

Is the author enough of a madwoman to make Asumi and Nanao have sex? It might be a line Asumi doesn't want to cross since Nanao isn't a prostitute, but I feel like she'll be faced with having to consider it since I can't think of what Nanao's purpose in the story could be otherwise.

Yeah, she's almost 100% confirmed to be Cyrus' ancestor in a scene where she's given the reins of the Galaxy Team by Kamado and she says she'll make sure its name is passed on to her descendants.

I love that the fried egg got so far detached from Majime's head it took a while for it to catch up and smacked her.

The official release in my country has recently caught up so it's nice to see the chapters for volume 7 are all done. The wait will be painful especially for the friends I lend it to and who don't read the monthly chapters online.

Feels nice being patient during the setup so that the payoff hits just right when it eventually comes. When the series introduced Laureley and the band battle I feared it might shift away from Yori and Himari's relationship too much and lead it to stagnating, but in hindsight I feel they were used to develop said relationship quite well. I don't think it took too long to get there, Yori needed to wallow in her jealousy a bit before she could come to terms with it.

As for Shiho, I'm okay with her shenanigans as long as she isn't forgiven too easily. Assuming she loses the band battle, that will already be punishment, but then she also needs to apologize for being so antagonistic and try to make things better.

The confession/kiss at the fireworks festival being interrupted is just as much of a cliché if not more so I was kinda wondering how it'd go. It still kinda happened with the second attempt, heh.
