Now that I look at that thread again, the bot could easily have seen the word "drug" in the title and made that comment based only on that word. Saying something like it did out of the blue does make it seem like it was only picking up on keywords.

If she helped landlady-san from doing something awful on a bridge and forgot about it I'm legit going to cry.

Takuya enjoying being in the friendzone is wholesome. Sometimes boys and girls can just be pals, y'know?

I'm hoping he figures it out before his mom and decides to become Yuka's wingman.

Wait, why there was blood after Yuka went out from the bathroom?

she had a nosebleed from intense perverted thoughts

(has that ever actually happened to anybody ever? I nosebleed easily, but I've never had them in response to sexual arousal.)

Directly from a Google search on the subject:

The trope comes from an old wives' tale that when a teenager filled to the brim with hormones sees something arousing, their blood pressure rises to the point that it causes a nosebleed. Mangaka Yasuji Tanioka's humorous comics from the '60s are thought to be the trope's earliest inclusion in manga.

So.... can you blacklist doujin generally(aka fanfic) just like the common tags?

You want to blacklist the majority of the content on the site?

^ Have you looked through all of the pictures and doujins with this pairing?

The lack of relevance to the topic makes me suspect this is spam too, though they didn't post any links this time.

Also, why am I the only one reporting these? Looking at this page, you'd think I was the bot...

That post is relevant to the topic, though.

If either of us falls in love with someone else, we'll go back to being just friends.

I went from fuzzy feels to ominous "GO GO GO" sounds in a microsecond.

^ Ah, Furbies. Because somebody saw Gremlins and said, "hey, wouldn't it be fun if we created a toy that looks like that and is powered by the souls of lost children?"

Ichiro is a very common name frequently given to the first-born son of a family. Maybe Patchouli thinks of it as her son?

The art reminds me of Pop Team Epic.

The weird seal thing keeps reminding me of Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku.

And Ataru certainly has it bad. It's clear that she'd do anything for Elly, but I don't think the conversation in the car on the way home reflects well on her since she pretty much was sowing seeds of discontent and trying to add to Elly's already low mood by suggesting that their relationship was headed toward stagnation.

It's certainly possible she was doing it to make her feel bad, but reading over it again, it seems like it could also just as likely be trying to minimize it so she doesn't feel as bad. Ataru's immediate backpedaling would seem to imply that she wasn't trying to make her feel bad on purpose. Again, people can fake that, but I don't see her as someone who's that damn duplicitous at this point.

But why would you rent a lesbian if you are into guys?

Have you heard of bisexuals?

I kinda disagree with that as it connotes that bisexual women would naturally "revert back" to heterosexual coupling once they've had their fill of lesbian experience. Irl, there have been bisexual women in long-term homosexual relationships. Some bisexual men like theater actor Alan Cumming were first in hetero marriages for a long time, then afterward sought to be with men.

This particular idea (a negative stereotype) is one of the reasons why there seems to be bad blood between lesbians and bisexual women.

I posit that rather than a bisexual, she's someone who's "bi-curious" : (adjective)
(of a heterosexual person) interested in having a sexual experience with a person of the same sex.

I think you're making a couple huge assumptions here. First, the person asking if they'd heard of bisexuals said nothing resembling what you went on about. You somehow extrapolated that meaning all on your own. Second, she's clearly not bi-curious anymore, because she's had sex with this woman numerous times. She's bisexual, and whether from her own choice or societal pressure, she decided to get married to someone of the opposite sex. Being bisexual does not eliminate preferences.

In the Azumanga Daioh English localization, the English is...in English, but in a different font and with a footnote. The reason Kaoru learned German in the first place is because of the time she spent with a German foreign exchange student. Changing that part of the story and having her speak in an entirely different language when they could just put the German in a different font and/or include a note seems pretty unnecessary, but it's ultimately up to the publishers. I think it would be pretty cool for German readers if they knew she was speaking their language.

Any else getting Junji Ito vibes from this manga? The manga is hilarious but just ever so slightly creepy. My ominous radar keeps getting triggered.

It might just be you've seen the art style before on Blue Drop, in which case, I understand fully why your ominous radar is being triggered.

If you're asking how are they going to make it clear that she's actually speaking in German, most of the time there's a different font used, or a note on the page, or both. That's how actual publications I've seen in English go about it. I'm just assuming the publishers who do German localization do something similar.

Although, didn't VE have a german publication ? Wonder how they will translate that ?

You mean, besides correctly?

I mean the german part of the chapter

I don't know what you're even trying to ask. Why would a German publisher translate the German part into anything?
