A fan club made official? At nearly every turn this author has bested my attempts at predicting this story. I truly cannot comprehend the enormity of trope machinations in their brain, and I submit to their superior storytelling sensibilities.

I get how Ruriko feels. She's convinced that Kurumi doesn't love her romantically, or in a special way. She's convinced she values their interaction more, that it's skewed and one-sided, and swore to take this to the grave. So being kissed by Kurumi, especially whilst the woman is drunk, feels callous. She's thinking "Oh no I'm taking this way to seriously and she's just doing this because she's whimsical and independent and feeling it in the moment but not actually deeply in love with me the way I do her." Her knee-jerk reaction to GTFO makes sense. Also like, regardless of how she feels about Kurumi, it makes sense to react negatively if someone sprang a kiss on you if you aren't ready for it, which Ruriko isn't cause she's yknow, unrequited requited gay yearning.

In case anyone forgot, children of the spirits have near limitless mana unlike normal humans. Next chapter will probably get into the consequences of Sara taking Sylpheed. Fun to note that the original pre-serialized version reached the Sylpheed reveal in 50 pages (out of 300 total) while the serialized manga is now doing it at about 250 pages. I expect things to speed up now that the prologue is over.

This is the prologue? Like, there's a whole entire rest of the story after this that we get to see? They're not just going to run off into the sunset?

What about that fortuneteller/teacher though? We had a lot of scenes foreshadowing that she had some kind of bad intentions, and that got dropped without even a mention at the end.
