I love Citrus, but even i have to say that the drama feels really pointless right now, and thats saying something with Citrus. Everytime it feels like Mei goes through some character development, she immediately regresses the next arc. Like wasn't the last arc with her wanting to get more physical with Yuzu some sort of way of telling us that Mei was slowly being more honest with Yuzu about her feelings? Why is she acting like early chapters Mei now? I really hope this storyline doesn't get dragged on more than necessary.

Unfortunately, this is the way humans are. It can take many years of patience and effort to truly change yourself and grow out of your problems. In the interim, there will be plenty of ups and downs.

I do agree with you on that, we as persons take time to change even a bit, hell, i'm still struggling to get over a highschool crush getting married to an old guy, but this is were fiction has an edge over reality. In fiction you could see the characters growing as the story goes on, just like we've seen signs of Mei's growth as a character before, but if a character shows a slight regress or hits a roadblock in its growth for the sake of a narrative, thats where it actually hurts a story and the character's previous signs of growth and makes the whole thing kinda dumb and contrived.

Anyways, i do hope this plot gets resolved on a natural way and not in a soap opera-y way by having Yuzu interrupting the wedding with a classic "I'm opposed" or whatever cliche line, but i feel thats where this is going.

Citrus is a steaming pile of shit. Almost as bad as Nisekoi.
Citrus getting an anime is just more proof people will think yuri is shit.
We could have a Kase-san anime but no, we get this turd instead.

It's weird how the chapters on here are not updated. This webtoon is on like chapter 72 right now. For some reason I think dynasty scans updates each chapter slower.

Idk how it is now but when I last read this on a different site (which was before it showed up on dynasty) the quality was downright horrible. Some pages weren't even fully uploaded and you miss half a page of plot.

Stuff on dynasty is, as with most content here, top tier.

I know which one are you talking about, and not only the pages weren't fully uploaded, the translation felt like it was done through google translation. 9 times out of 10 the dialogue didn't made sense to me, i'm glad we're getting a pretty good version of these series now.

I think i lost my teeth thanks to the several cavities i got after reading that, that was extremely cute and sweet and i hope it never ends.

That was a fun read, i don't exactly liked the way Mirei's story ended, but since we got plenty of them on the anime i guess its fair that we got more from the others.

I really hope we get to see a sequel to this, i really want to see more of the cool senpai acting all shy

This shiz about to get dramatic and angsty, can't wait for next chapter. I have a feeling this won't end well tho...

We really need a spin-off of that reporter and her camera girl.

This type of special chapters are really cute and a nice break from all the serious stuff going on in the actual chapters.

There would be no point in an ending that is "as ambiguous as possible" regarding Yuu and Touko's relationship, as that's the very thing that the story focuses on. An ending like that would invalidate all this slow but consistent progression. A story that primarily focuses on something other than romance can get away with keeping the fate of the romantic pairings ambiguous, but not a story like Bloom Into You. For example, imagine Sweet Blue Flowers or Sasameki Koto with an "ambiguous" ending. Fans would have lost their shit. And in fiction in general, an ambiguous ending is only fitting if the audience can comfortable believe that the journey itself was worth it without a guaranteed destination, although this still depends on what aspect remains ambiguous.

Really, as long as the lesson in the end isn't that Yuu and Touko just have to "grow out of it", I'll be happy, even if they don't become an "official couple", which isn't even the only ending that could be considered optimistic. If Yuu confessed, and Nanami started living her own life (whatever that would entail) and started hating herself less everyday, that'd already be a huge step forward for them. The will-they-won't-they question is parallel to that (and I am pretty confident in that this is a love story through and through), but it doesn't determine their happiness by itself.

I think it would end with their relationship staying the same, but with both knowing exactly what they feel for each other, thats what i meant for "ambiguous." Not a huge confession scene where Yuu bares it all for Touko to hear, but a little hint that Touko knows Yuu's feelings but doesn't really want her to say it.

I finally caught up to this and i got to say, it feels like we're near the finish line of this story. I don't really see a tragic ending like so many people in here were saying, but i don't really see and actual "happy" ending either since that doesn't fit the story at all. I think Nakatani would leave it as ambiguous as possible because i don't really see a definitive end to this story.

This series feels a little bit like Fluttering Feelings but in highschool and less dramatic. It starts reaaaally slow, like "almost dropped it after the first 5 chapters" slow, but it picks up the pace in the latest chapters and it definitely benefits from binge reading it. Hopefully we continue to get updates on this series in the next weeks or months because i really enjoyed it.

I'm all for a poly relationship if it makes sense for the characters, but if it's just for the sake of having a poly relationship, i'll rather see the cat lovers together. I agree with Nya-chan here, Amane feels cold and distant with her "lovers," so far it feels like she just likes to fool around with them and nothing more than that.

Am I the only one feeling bad for Senpai's best friend? :(

You mean Sayaka? Yeah, she deserves someone too, dunno if she would get someone or would end like every other third wheel ends in any romance manga.

That was a really cute chapter, hopefully Saburouta doesn't completely derails the story now and adds unnecesary drama. The "What is Mei thinking and feeling" drama is enough, no need to add something dumb like a love triangle.

Damn, i really like Comaku's art style a lot. I'm getting some "Is my hobby weird?" polyamorous vibes from this one, but i would really like to see this artist tackle an actual love triangle story with some drama this time.

This was extremely cute and funny, i loved it. I hope we get to see more of these characters.

^ Nakatani is female, btw. Rather than normal adult life, I kinda want Nakatani to go full psychological fantasy yuri (with adult characters). We don't lack adult yuri manga as much as we lack fantasy yuri.

Like her Touho doujins but with an original setting? I would totally watch that in an instant.

Right now Yuu is blooming with her love but once a flower has bloomed it shrivels up and dies. I think this is the metaphor for what represents Yuu's and Touko's love. The front cover of chapter 19 is like a mirror. When one person’s love has blossomed the other person’s love dies. As Yuu's love is blossoming Touko's love will die. Also the name of chapter 19 is mirage, the definition of mirage “an unrealistic hope or wish that cannot be achieved.” Basically, the author is saying that a happy ending will not be achieved that’s what I get from this whole manga. :(

While i do agree with everything you said, i still think we might get some sort of bittersweet (Or sweetbitter like someone else said before) ending. I believe we will see Touko realizing how stupid it is to try to live someone else's life at some point in the story, one of the reasons she doesn't want to be loved is because that would create more pressure on her to live up to that person expectations while still living up to everyone else's. So, yeah, i think this isn't going to be a story where everything is nice and pink, but i also don't think Nakatani would go full Depressing as fuck on the ending.

You are right it IS about miss sunflower opening up and rediscovering life after the original miss sunflowers death bought miss sunflowers life to a stand still. And it IS Matsuri who is the catalyst for it.

You are also right that miss sunflower seems to be coming aware of Matsuri's importance to her in her life. BUT- I never saw yet a hint it was in a romantic way from her side. But more of a get Matsuri to stay with her - work in the bookshop etc because she is really important to her way.

Maybe with that realization will come romantic feelings - I hope they do! Just the author hasn't shown us anything like that yet.

Miss Sunflower doesn't seem to be the type of person who understands love, so i guess that would be her way of showing her "love" for Matsuri and the best way to end this series without actually showing any explicit romantic displays of affection.

Oversimplying here but to me it's more about the journey, personal growth, the time they spend together, developing bonds... The romantic feelings are at the core of it all, but they're also almost incidental in a way

I think its a good way of simplifying it. But, what i'm trying to say is that Miss Sunflower's romantic feeling might be different than Matsuri's or anyone else and that we would get an ending where her love for Matsuri would be implied in a way that only Matsuri understands.

All things considered the two of them getting together is really not what the manga is about so Shikata ga nai desu... But I agree, and feel bad for it

Is it really not about that? Obviously, its about her trying to become a different version of Miss Sunflower, but its also about her becoming more open about her feelings and how she deals with them. Yeah, we might not see them kiss or live happily together since Miss Sunflower's character is not like that at all, but we might see the realization that Matsuri is more important to her than she realizes and that she's the only one that makes her feel something different.

I was only thinking along the line of her having similar weaknesses to Touko. The sleeping around thing doesn't seem like something Nakatani would write, but who knows

Anyways, chapter was cute, but we all know everything's going to change once summer camp starts and i'm pretty sure that guy at the end of the previous chapter would be the cause of it. Doubt it would be romance related, but he doesn't look like good news to me

You can just go watch it, its just 2 (or was it 3?) episodes out.

Personally I really do not care for any of these characters, so all the QQ sobby face and melodrama does not faze me.

Watched it, it was awful. The haracters feel like those of a really bad fanfiction, a netorare fanfiction. Definitely dropping it after EP1, the animation was decent though, which is the best thing i could say about it.
