Chinami made the right choice, props to her. I'm sure it's most likely because she didn't feel truly loved by Yukako and grew tired of being the side chick and less about guilt/morals, but I'll take it (a character actually respects themselves for once, crazy). I'm quite satisfied if it ended like this but I would also be satisfied if Yukako divorces her husband and devotes her love to Chinami, which I hope is what will happen.

I've never been into Touhou so I was just wondering is there a certain reason why these two are shipped so much?

If you think of excitement/arousal as motivation like psychology does then yeah, I think it could be excitement deficiency syndrome though there is more to it than that.

I only read the first few chapters and this last one but it's cool, I agree with KawaiiSuika though, it doesn't really look like there was much development (except for that one relationship with the tanned guy and the other guy). Although this is just one of those mangas with a mellow type of feel so I get it

The year went by so fast that I didn't even notice it's been a year since the last chapter was updated

The credits and comments are very ominous and make me scared to read the next chapters on MD

EDIT: I read it, the author pulled quite a quickie on us huh, I was expecting it but also not at the same time. Still made me cry though.

Honestly, to me it kinda looks like Russian (as a person who doesn't know Russian). I can read Hiragana and Katakana and the elevator buttons were just some of the characters mixed with other characters so good job at replicating the author's vibe in English

yeah uh I like other ohsawa yayoi works (expecially Hello, Melancholic, which was way better at conveying feelings) but not this... it makes me feel very uneasy

Even though it was axed I thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely one of my favorites, it's sad that this is a what could've been though. I'm still glad it ended on a happy note and that everything was resolved with no cliffhangers (except for Ema's relationship). A good job to Ohsawa Yayoi too for managing the pacing well with the limited amount of chapters she had left. If people didn't tell me it was discontinued I probably wouldn't have noticed it at all. It's a good and real story though, I wonder why it got cancelled

Actually I just realized the recent chapters were updated a bit over year ago. Although it looks like the translation team hasn't been active in over a year. I hope another translation team picks this up somehow, I really wanna know what happens, especially now that we know she has to kiss someone

Ah, I did a bit more digging, they are still active, it looks like they just lost interest and moved on to translating a different manga

Also it's a literal doujin. Unless the people who consume the content copy it in real life I don't think we should worry about it too much. If we did that with everything creativity and story telling would just turn into a joke and our whole society would turn into something like Fahrenheit 451. There's also literal illegal age gap shit on this site, heck this might be illegal age gap in itself. Which in my opinion is way worse than "emotional manipulation," if you could even call it that since the maid clearly already had a crush on her. You could probably even argue that she did that to break her out of her tsundere shell to get her true feelings. At the end of the day we're all collectively here for one thing: yuri. LET US UNITE WITH YURI AND INSTEAD OF LETTING IT TEAR US APART!

I think they mean the part where they just somehow get married but honestly the 2nd chapter seems pretty realistic to me. I've never been in a relationship but from a logical standpoint I think the author managed to convey and solve the problem in chapter 2 like real communicative people would
