I wonder how long Amane is going to be under lizard girls spell. Not sure what form this messed up relationship will take. Will she be wraped around her finger? Will her "friends" see something is wrong and step in. Hard to imagine Amane listening to them at this point though.

New friend group now featuring Izumi? How did I not realize I wanted that until it happened?

Kurokawa again figuring something is up Pretty quickly even if her way of fixing it is still off somewhat.

Gonna have to agree with those saying her issue from the beginning still hasn't been resolved.

Apparently, the pedophile dude is a crossover character from another LN by the author, Detective Hanasaki Tarou. Quote: "Women reach their peak at the age of 15, and it's all downhill from there". So yeah.

Good chapter apart from that element. Did think the Adachis mom show more weight since it was mentioned. Had her looking a certain way in my mind.

So Shimamura tipped her hand when she mentioned "daughter?"

On the other hand at the opposite end of the spectrum is The Feelings We Must All Endure, which still comes back to me regularly to punch me in the gut.

That was the mostly unpleasant thing I've ever read, in terms of how I actually felt afterwards.

By the way I haven't read Sweet Blue Flowers, could I ask someone to tell me what went down in that story that seems to have mix opinions?

The highlights are that the pair on the cover take forever to get together, and then break up, and then get together again. But I don't think what actually happens in the story has anything to do with why opinions are mixed. It's a very, very slow story, with lots of deviations to focus on side characters, chapters where basically nothing happens, apparent reversals of previous plot events, and an incredibly sudden ending. Somehow, it feels both too long and too short. Personally, it's one of my favorite manga, but I understand why people don't like it.

I see! thanks for that summary~ personally I can enjoy slooow stories, so long as I care about the characters then I am fine, but it does sound somewhat tiresome to get through

I liked it. I usually don't mind focus on side characters but even i was getting sick of them towards the end.

Not sure how I feel about this story. I try to say nothing if I don't like a story on this site but I can't really think of a direction you could take this story that would actully hold my interest.

So very good. I'm down for a continuation. I'm not up to speed on the plans for this series. Also dreadfully curious what new story from this mangaka would be like

This might end up being one of my favorite chapters. Getting a small glimpse of our mains characters from the mothers who had a hand in raising them was super interesting. And who can say they saw the "test of wills" coming?

This was yet another good chapter.

That was pretty neat.

Being fawned over by someone you're trying to move on from or someone you have moved on from is really frustrating. Especially if they said they want to be friends but then they try to put the moves on you. It's completely disrespectful and if it were a guy doing that to a girl we would all agree and call him a creep. It doesn't matter that Amane still loves her. She obviously doesn't love her enough to respect her boundaries and her feelings. Regardless on the break up.

I do feel for Amane though, having lingering feelings for someone. But trying to force yourself onto them just hurts both parties and that's how you LOSE someone forever.

Why people so focus on Nene and Amane getting together again.
Poor Kou, people sure like to drop her like hot potatoes just see exes getting back together, sure they look good but things change no matter how well they interact with each other.

Some people liked the exes from the start.

I find it really surprising that so many people like Amane. I think she's incredibly annoying. She's short-sighted, narrow-minded, and embodies an anime archetype I despise. The short, pig-tailed, cutesy girl with lots of energy and an inferiority complex. I've seen her a thousand times and I never like her any more than I did the last time. She's stuck in the past and I don't want her getting back with Nene. She needs to learn to face reality and respect the feelings of others. But she's so loud and selfish that she only sees what she wants to. I can't stand her. Chapter 5 is easily the worst so far.

Edit:but yeah. She is rather unlikable. I guess I just feel like . . .the author is going to do SOMETHING with her other than mope about an ended relationship.

Did people seriously thinking Yashiro as a threat? I mean she just a little kid and Shimamura only see her as little sister. IMO Yashiro is there so we can see Adachi's cute jealousy act.

Personally, cute is the last thing I called displays of jealousy. Best I can do is a knowledge it as a character trait. Some guy on the radio said he liked making his girlfriend jealous. -_- don't wanna say what that made me feel like doing to him. idk. I seem to be at odds with the comment sections here half the time anyway.

Had to re-read chapter 3. God this stories particular brand of chaos is so good! The main pair is great. Especially Nekozaki. Think I got her name right.
