As Tyraneo said, in the Riyoverse FGO (AKA the Learn with Manga! FGO series), Altera & Helena were forced to be the parents for the Children Kingdom.

They were reluctant at first, but later on were shown to be close. (One chapter in particular pointed out that they were arguing like a married couple)

I can't wait for a doujin of this couple. They are canon after all.

I think the tag won't be added since it might be considered a spoiler. I remember there was an angsty manga here of which the comment's section has a debate about adding some tags like cheating, etc, to save some poor soul from getting their hearts crushed, but some (including a mod, iirc) felt it was too spoiler-y so the tags weren't added.

I should have looked at where this come from since the one written by Yukiko from this anthology had me scarred. I got too excited seeing Haruzo as the artist :(

What kind of story is it? I might put off reading the entire anthology if that story is as bad/ worse than this, and this is already quite bad.

It's not depressing per se, but it's really not worth it imo. It's like "The Love Relationship Between Mai-chan and Ecchan" (or as I like to call it, "The Terrible Relationship Between Garbage-chan and Ecchan"). It's just plain stupid.
