For me I love the art of this series, and I also love the art of many other series for what they are. I appreciate the efforts of artists of many varieties for their own flavor and style, including some of the most simple and sketchy art. Usually even with art like that I don't have an issue easily sinking into their story and immersing myself in the creator's experience.

Not really; it's more like they pulled a bait and switch. In the first couple of volumes things were very racy in terms of visuals, then suddenly it got very PG-13 and stayed that way.

I personally thought the tongue aspect was sexy, so I guess it depends on who you ask and what they like.
